Standard Terms and Conditions:
Cancellations - Bookings cancelled more than 30 days prior the 50% deposit is non-refundable. For those bookings cancelled less than 30 days prior to arrival date, a cancellation fee of 100% of total booking cost will be incurred - therefore no refund will be made.
$300 cleaning fee per stay . $1500 security bond is held against nominated credit card.
We do not accommodate Bucks/Stags, Schoolies or similar gatherings. We have a strict 'NO PARTIES' policy.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Following are Byron Beach Retreats Standard Terms and Conditions of Temporary Holiday Accommodation.
Note: variances can be agreed on but only by arrangement with the owner in writing.
A SECURITY BOND is required via credit card prior to check in - bond amounts = The Bungalow $750 / The Beach House $1000 / The Boardwalk $1,500 / The Eco Lodge $1,500. Your credit card will be debited in the event of: damage to the property, equipment, breakages or if extra cleaning is required.
A CLEANING FEE will apply per booking = The Bungalow $150 / The Beach House $225 / The Eco Lodge $300 / The Boardwalk $300 . The cleaning fee will be charged, together with final payment, against your nominated credit card 30 days prior to check in.
Cancellation by the guest - We have a strict cancelation policy. Your deposit is non-refundable in the event of a cancellation. If you have paid more than the deposit or paid in full and cancel your booking 30 days prior to check in you will be refunded all moneys less 50% tariff deposit. If you cancel within 30 days of check in no refund will apply. Should you be eligible for a refund it will be made through your chosen payment method at time of Booking.
The owner will make every effort to ensure the property is available as booked. However, the owner reserves the right to make alterations to bookings due to unforeseen circumstances.
To maintain a good standard for our guests we require certain conditions to be complied with. We appreciate most will respect our property but the occasional abuse requires that we state the following conditions.
The number of guests should not exceed the number stated on the Confirmation Notice or the number subsequently agreed in writing or email. Fees will apply for additional guests not agreed to with the owner in advance.
Parties and functions are strictly prohibited. The price charged is for domestic use only and not commercial. Accordingly this rate does not allow for the extra wear associated with functions in terms of cleaning, garbage removal, wear and tear, repairs etc. Use contrary to this may result in loss of your security deposit and/or additional payments.
Damage, breakages, theft and loss are the guest's responsibility during their stay.
Departure - the property should be left in a similar state to its condition on arrival. Check-out time is 10.00 am to allow time to prepare property for next guests.
Disturbance to our neighbours, including excessive noise, is prohibited and may result in termination of rental and loss of the security deposit. If security is required to attend the Property due to noise complaints the security call out fee of approximately $250 will be deducted from the security bond, second noise complaint can mean loss of full bond and being asked to vacate the Property immediately.
The security deposit is designed to cover any additional costs incurred including but not limited to any breakage, damage or excess cleaning requirements, extra guests beyond those declared, etc.
Linen and beach towels are provided
Loss - the owner takes no responsibility for the guest's personal property.
Variations to these conditions may only be made by prior arrangement with the owner in writing.
A deposit of 50% of the tariff cost must be received to secure the booking. Bookings are not confirmed unless and until this deposit is received.
Payment in full including cleaning fee must be received no later than 30 days prior to your arrival.
Payments of the amount due must be received in Australian $net of any bank or other transaction charges.
Please ensure payments are made within the speci ed time limits or the Booking will be cancelled automatically without notice or liability to you.
Please ensure your have read our Terms and Conditions. Payments will serve as confirmation of acceptance of our Terms and Conditions of Booking and Cancellation Policy, as stated on our website www.byronbeachretreats.com.au
