The Tongariro Suite is situated on the first floor with views of Lake Taupo and Mount Tauhara and beyond. It has a superking Swiss Hüsler Nest,100% natural fibre, bed with separate mattresses for each side of the bed for a perfect night’s sleep. Air conditioning is also there for your comfort. The ensuite bathroom features a claw-foot bath and a large walk in shower and separate toilet. Your bathroom has luxurious bathrobes, under floor heating, toiletries and hairdryer.

Fresh flowers, seasonal fruit, soft drinks (mini bar), a bottle of New Zealand wine, cheese and a selection of teas and coffee with snacks are included in all rooms to be enjoyed by our guests. What more could you ask for?

Chalet Eiger's multi zone audio-system distributes entertainment to all rooms and is controlled by an in-room LCD keypad. High speed wireless internet, is available in all rooms. Laundry service and in-house facilities are available. Chalet Eiger operates a non-smoking policy inside the lodge, however ashtrays are available for outside use.

Payment Policy

Accommodation is by reservation only. We require 25% deposit or your credit card details. We do not charge against it, but it is held as a guarantee should cancellation occur.

Cancellation Policy

Due to our intimate size, any cancellation affects us significantly. Consequently the following cancellation policy applies:

Cancellation within 14 days of arrival, no charge

Cancellation within 7 days of arrival 100% of the total stay will be charged.

Naturally, we will make every attempt to re-sell the room(s) and night(s) booked in question and if successful, we will reimburse your payment. We advise all our guests to arrange travel insurance.Please update
