The Tauhara Garden Suite is situated on the ground floor with beautiful views and direct access to the expansive gardens of Chalet Eiger. It has a luxury Queen bed and is large enough to put up a king singles bed for other adults or children over 15. Air conditioning is also there for your comfort. The large ensuite bathroom features a large easy access shower and a toilet. Your bathroom has luxurious bathrobes, under floor heating. Suite.

Fresh flowers, seasonal fruit and cheese platter on your arrival, a complimentary mini-bar including New Zealand wines & local beers, and a selection of teas and coffee are included in all rooms to be enjoyed by our guests. What more could you ask for?

Chalet Eiger's multi zone audio-system distributes suitable music to all rooms and is controlled by an in-room LCD keypad. High speed wireless internet, is available in all rooms at no charge. The Tauhara Suite is equipped with a 42 inch HD TV. A Laundry service and/or in-house facilities are available. Chalet Eiger operates a non-smoking policy inside the lodge, however ashtrays are available for outside use.

Payment Policy

Accommodation is by reservation only. We require 25% deposit or your credit card details. We do not charge against it, but it is held as a guarantee should cancellation occur.

Cancellation Policy

Due to our intimate size, any cancellation affects us significantly. Consequently the following cancellation policy applies:

Cancellation within 14 days of arrival, no charge

Cancellation within 7 days of arrival 100% of the total stay will be charged.

Naturally, we will make every attempt to re-sell the room(s) and night(s) booked in question and if successful, we will reimburse your payment. We advise all our guests to arrange travel insurance.Please update
