The Albion of Auckland built in 1873, is one of New Zealand’s oldest standing historic Hotels located in the heart of Auckland City. All reservations, bookings, and inquiries can be made by email or facsimile and will be replied to within 24 hours. For instant confirmation please reserve via our website.
Please note that some of our triple rooms don't have a window. Please inquire within.
You must be 18 yrs or over. Identification will be required upon arrival.
We charge $150 bond by cash or credit card on your arrival.It will be refunded on your check out after inspection of the room.
Smoking is not permitted in the guest rooms or public areas within the hotel buildings. Should you and/or your guests smoke in a room a cleaning fee will apply. You will also be responsible for any costs, damage, or liability arising as a result of smoking and/or any smoke detectors being activated by you. Should you wish to smoke during your stay please use the relevant designated outside smoking areas.
No animals are permitted in our hotel.
We reserve the right to limit the number of people in any one room. Unless it has been previously communicated and agreed in writing by Hotel Management we operate a “no party” policy. We also reserve the right to remove people from rooms if noise levels exceed acceptable levels and are reducing the enjoyment levels of other guests.
Any damage to the room or property may be charged to the credit card provided, or billed to the guest and may include loss of income if applicable.
The hotel accepts no responsibility to amend your reservation due to transport delays/closures/cancellations. i.e. airport, ferry, or road closures due to bad weather. The onus is on you to contact the hotel to avoid the above penalty fees.
You may be asked to produce proof of your Identity in order to check-in. This is in the interests of safety and security of our hotel and guests.

Early and late check-outs are dependent upon availability. Please inquire within.
Please be aware there is no lift or elevator. Access to all rooms is via stairs.
There is no heating system in the rooms. Extra blankets are available upon request.
Wifi passwords are provided upon check-in.
There is no parking facility at the hotel.
Hotel room keys - please return all keys to the front desk on your departure any lost keys will attract a $50 fee that will be debited from your credit card on departure.
No more than the allocated number of people may be in each room at one time.
All visitors must be met downstairs from the hotel.

All rates are quoted in New Zealand Dollars on a per night basis and include GST of 15%. All accounts must be settled directly with the Albion Hotel in New Zealand Dollars
The price advertised might not be the same price charged to the credit card account due to exchange rate. Fluctuations - This means that because we are based in New Zealand we have to convert your purchase to New Zealand Dollars at the exchange rate on the day it is processed.
All cancellations must be received no later than 24 hours prior to your arrival.
If you cancel 24 hours prior to your arrival or less you will be charged 100% of the first night of your reservation
