Terms & Conditions

Minimum/Maximum night stays: Aviator may impose minimum or maximum stays at its discretion.

Arrival and Departure Times: Check in time is 2pm. Check out time is 10am. Subject to the room status on the day of departure, late check-out may be available, please check should you require this facility.

Child Policy: Children 12 years of age and under are free of charge when accompanied by a paying adult and using existing bedding. In circumstances where additional bedding is required, the extra person rate of $25 per person will apply.

Additional Charges: Lost keys: $10 per key / Extra care room cleaning surcharge: $50 per room / Carpet cleaning: $70 per room / Damage: Cost of repair and cost of loss of accommodation during repair / Missing chattels: Cost of replacement and loss of accommodation until replaced.

Room housekeeping: Housekeeping frequency is flexible. However, unless prior arrangements are made it is carried out every second day. Spare towels are provided for non-housekeeping days.

Lost property returns: By arrangement. Please be responsible for your own safety and that of your belongings. Aviator accepts no liability or loss should you not secure your room by locking your door when you retire or venture out.

Smoking: Smoking is only allowed outside and if the smoking policy is breached, the equivalent of 2 nights accommodation will be charged.

Payment Policy

General: All rates are quoted in NZ dollars on a per night basis. All accounts must be settled in New Zealand dollars.

Reservations: You must be 18 years or over. A deposit of 50% is required to confirm all bookings. All reservations must be accompanied by Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, JCB or EFTPOS details. (2.95% surcharge applies) These details are held for security purposes on file. Full payment is due upon check-in. Our online booking system is powered by Little Hotelier to ensure your details are secure. All bookings made in person or over the phone require a valid credit card to confirm the reservation. Please refer to Online Booking Terms & Conditions when booking through an online service.

Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel a booking please let us know as soon as possible so we may offer the property to others. Cancellations received 7 days or more prior to arrival will incur no charge for cancellation. Cancellations received less than 7 days prior will incur the entire cost of the accommodation. This includes no shows and cancellation of nights after arrival. No refunds after arrival should you decide to change your plans or in the event the weather changes or you change your mind. If you have booked using a third party booking site then you need to arrange any cancellations via that agency directly. Credit cards will be charged in accordance with this cancellation policy and are also held as a bond against damages.

Cancellation by Owner/Manager: If, due to circumstances beyond our control, the property becomes unavailable or unfit for use, we will notify you as soon as possible and refund your money in full.
