Terms & Conditions
By making a booking at Bask & Stow, you acknowledge and accept our following terms and conditions. Please read these carefully.
CHECK IN and CHECK OUT
Check-in is from 2 pm and check-out time is by 10 am. An additional fee may be charged if you do not check out by 10 am. When available, early check-ins from 10 am and late check-out until 2 pm are offered at 50% of the nightly tariff.
RATES AND BOOKINGS
Rates quoted are in Australian dollars, inclusive of GST where applicable, and are subject to change. Any rate given is an estimate only. A written confirmation and payment is required to secure the booking. It is your responsibility to ensure all the details of the booking confirmation are correct and to notify us of any discrepancies within 48 hours.
PAYMENT
Full payment must be made at the time of booking. We accept Direct Deposit as well as Visa, Mastercard, and Amex. A 2% credit card fee applies.
CANCELLATIONS
Being a small, family-run business, cancellations affect us greatly. A 50% refund will be offered for any cancellations made more than 30 days of your arrival. Cancellations made within 30 days of the arrival date or thereafter will be charged the full tariff. A written notification is necessary for all cancellations.
SECURITY DEPOSIT, LOSS and DAMAGES
Each booking requires a refundable security deposit or credit card authorisation for the amount of one night’s tariff. Any loss, damage, excess cleaning, or other expenses incurred will be charged at the management's discretion. Guests are expected to respect the property and to report any issues immediately.
KEYS
Loss of keys will be charged $50.
GUESTS
Bask & Stow is exclusively for our guests. At no time is the number of guests to exceed the number of guests booked. No visitors, unless by prior arrangement. Strictly no parties or schoolies.
CHILDREN
Infants up to 24 months are welcome to stay in our Suites. The House at Bask & Stow welcomes children of all ages.
PETS
Bask & Stow has a no pet policy out of respect for other guests.
NOISE
As we are located in a residential area, please consider our neighbours and other guests by keeping noise to a minimum after 10 pm. Excessive noise will result in eviction without a refund.
SMOKING
Bask & Stow is a non-smoking property. This includes decks, poolside and outdoor areas. Any offence will incur an additional cleaning charge of $500.
POOL
Pool hours are 7 am - 8 pm. Strictly no glassware in the pool area, please. All guests using the pool do so at their own risk. An adult must accompany infants and children at all times. Bask & Stow takes no responsibility for accidents or injuries.
INTERNET
We offer free high-performance Wi-Fi. The connection is not guaranteed, and disruptions may occur without notice.
PARKING
We provide limited off-street parking for guests. Parking cannot be reserved.
PERSONAL BELONGINGS
We do not take responsibility for any loss or damage of guest’s personal belongings, nor loss or damage to vehicles parked on the premises.
PHOTOSHOOTS
The property is available for photoshoots, strictly by arrangement only.
LIABILITIES
You acknowledge that we do not accept liability for any injury, damage, loss, additional expenses, and disruptions due to electrical storms or other acts of God caused directly or indirectly by events, which are beyond our control and agree not to make any claim in relation thereto.
