TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Our terms and conditions are part of the care we show for our guests and our home. Please read these terms and conditions carefully, as payment for the booking will be taken as indicating acceptance of these terms and conditions on behalf of everyone covered by that booking. It is your responsibility to ensure that all of the details on your confirmation documents are correct and to bring to our attention any errors or discrepancies within 48 hours of your booking.

ACCOMMODATION BOOKINGS AND QUOTES
Bookings can be made online or by calling Beaumaris Beach Guest House on (+61) 423 073 148. Reservations are subject to availability and actual pricing at the time of booking. Verbal quotes are valid for 24 hours only, are given as an estimate only of price,and are subject to the written advice that is provided on confirmation of booking. Guests agree to pay the rate for each night of their stay and any additional charges incurred up until the time they have checked out and departed from the grounds of Beaumaris Beach Guest House. The accommodation may be occupied by guest only for the period stated on their booking confirmation.

PAYMENT OPTIONS
Payments are accepted by credit card, and in Australian dollars.

RATES AND CHARGES
Rates quoted are in Australian dollars and are subject to change at any time. Rates are inclusive of GST where applicable. Any verbal quote given is an estimate only of price, which will be subject to the written advice provided on confirmation of the booking. A minimum length of stay restriction may be applied to certain rates during special event periods. The price of guest accommodation cannot be guaranteed until full payment is received.

PAYMENT POLICY
Full payment is taken at the time of booking, using the credit card details provided by guests. Credit Card details are held in secure file until the guest has paid all costs associated with their stay and have checked out, and are then destroyed.
If payment is not received prior to the completion of check-in, we reserve the right to cancel the booking.

BOOKING CANCELLATION POLICY
Guests can cancel free of charge until seven days before the date of arrival, and will receive a full refund of the charges paid to the date of cancellation.
Guests will be charged the total price of the reservation if they cancel within the seven days before arrival, unless this cancellation is due to government restrictions put in place as a response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Guests who do not arrive for their reservation will be charged the total price of the reservation.

NUMBER OF GUESTS
The number of guests is not to exceed the number accepted at check-in. Additional persons may be considered to be trespassers and will be evicted.

PERSONAL BELONGINGS
The personal belongings of guests are not covered under our insurance policy and therefore we take no responsibility for any loss or damage of personal property left on the premises. Guests agree not to make any claim against us for any damages or loss to personal belongings regardless of how or where the loss or damage occurred.

VEHICLE ACCESS
One of the rules made at the time of the subdivision of this area was that vehicles would not access the grounds of the Beaumaris Beach Guest House directly from the Tasman Highway, or join the Tasman Highway from these grounds. Please comply with this regulation, and use Belair Crescent to enter and leave the property.

CHECK-IN
Check-in can be done between 3:00pm and 7:00pm on the first day of your stay with us. We can sometimes arrange for check-in to be done outside these hours so please contact us if you will arrive early or are delayed and we'll do our best to meet your needs. There are a number of local attractions which you can visit if you do arrive in the area early and we are not able to help you to access your room.
It is important that all guests check in and provide their details as this information is used during any emergency or to make contact at other times.

PARKING
Parking is provided on site for one vehicle per room booking. It may be possible to provide parking for additional vehicles, by prior arrangement.

KEYS
You will be provided with the key to each door of your room when you check in on your first day with us. You will also be given a key to the external Reception door at the rear of the building. Please return these keys to us when you check out as you leave on your last day. We will charge for the replacement of keys which are not returned when you have left. If you find that you still have the keys please call us to arrange for their return before we make this charge.

DIETARY NEEDS
Please advise us of specific dietary needs when you check in, so that we are able to discuss these with you before serving breakfast each morning. We are happy to attempt to meet all needs to the extent that resources are available in the local area.

PETS
We are able to accommodate visits by some animals at some times, but not always. Please contact us at the time of making your booking if you are travelling with a pet.

QUIET TIMES AND BEHAVIOUR
A number of guests share this home. Please consider all occupants at all times, and assist with everyone’s enjoyment by keeping noise to a level appropriate to the time of day.
Please also consider the good relationship we have with our neighbours when driving on Belair Crescent.
Disturbance of other residents in the Beaumaris Beach Guest House and of our neighbours, including through excessive noise or music, is prohibited and may result in eviction without refund. If a noise complaint is received a first warning will be given, but receipt of a second complaint will lead to eviction without any refund.

BREAKAGES AND DAMAGES
Damages or breakages of furniture or furnishings must be reported to Management immediately. Breakages or damages to the property and all communal or external areas that are caused by any guest or by a guest’s visitor may be charged and recouped in full from the guest’s credit card. Excess cleaning required on departure or the replacement of any items removed from the accommodation may also be charged to the guest’s credit card. Furniture, fixtures and fittings are not to be altered or moved between rooms.

SMOKING POLICY
Smoking is not permitted within Beaumaris Beach Guest House, or within 20 metres of the building. Please bear this in mind if you need to smoke.

SMOKE DETECTORS
Smoke detectors are fitted in the ceiling of each bedroom and in the public areas. They will show a steady green light and a flashing red one as part of their normal operation. These detectors are linked to each other, and will all sound when one has been activated. If the detector in your ceiling sounds and you have not set it off, please prepare to move to the Assembly Area by using the nearest safe exit. If you have set it off and this was due to something other than a fire such as steam escaping from the bathroom, please call us and we will come to turn the detector off. The detection system can only be reset from the detector which was activated. All smoke detectors have a battery fitted, and will continue to operate during any power outage.

KITCHEN AND LAUNDRY
The kitchen and laundry are not part of the shared area available to guests. Please ask for assistance if you have particular needs for these areas.

WATER
The Guest House is not connected to a town water supply or sewerage system. We collect and store rainwater for all our water needs in the Guest House. Please consider this in your use of water while you are staying with us. Bottled water is freely available for our guests to use if you prefer this to rainwater.
Our sewerage is treated using a septic system within the grounds. Please also consider this when using the toilets, and only use the toilet paper provided. Other items can be disposed of using the various bins provided.

OWNERS’ ROOMS
The owners’ private rooms are accessed using the timber staircase in the shared loungeroom. They are not accessible to guests. The owners can be contacted by mobile phone (0423 073 147 or 0423 073 148), or by pressing the doorbell on the wall outside the external door to the Reception area.

BREAKAGES
We understand that sometimes accidents happen! If you break anything please let us know immediately. We usually will not charge for minor breakages, but do need to be sure that broken pieces are collected and that an area is still safe for use. We would like to agree with you before you leave on the cost of repairing or replacing larger items to avoid any issues later.

CHECK-OUT
When you leave, please ensure the following simple tasks are done:
 Place all rubbish in the bins provided in your room
 Return all cups and glasses to the tray on the counter in your room
 Ensure the heater, fan and lights are turned off in your room
 Remove all of your personal belongings
 Leave all doors to your room unlocked and open
 Return the key to your room to Stuart or Judy Muir, or leave it in the box provided on the Reception desk
 Complete the survey questionnaire from the back of this book including any comments or suggestions you have, and leave it also at the Reception desk.

CHECK-OUT TIME
Check-out must be completed by 10am.

CLEANING
You will find your room clean on arrival but please let us know if you are not satisfied. There is no room cleaning service for stays of up to seven days as all rooms used for this period will be cleaned after these guests have checked out of the Guest House. Rooms which are used by guests booked for longer stays will be cleaned by arrangement with these guests, usually on Tuesdays. Cleaning can be done more frequently by arrangement if required but may attract an additional fee.

INVENTORY CHECK
Please advise us immediately if items are broken or damaged in your room. The contents of each room will be checked after guests check out. Guests will be charged for items which are damaged or missing at the time of check out.

LIABILITIES
Guests acknowledge that Beaumaris Beach Guest House does not accept liability for any injury, damage, loss, additional expenses and disruptions due to electrical storms or other acts of God caused directly or indirectly by events, which are beyond our control and agree not to make any claim in relation thereto.

TENANCY
Guests agree that regardless of their length of stay in there is no tenancy or other rights created under any Landlord and Tenant laws and that there are no such laws that apply to your stay.

BREACH OF TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Guests agree to pay Beaumaris Beach Guest House for the total loss or damage that may be suffered as a result of any breach of the terms and conditions, and hereby authorise us to debit their credit card in payment of that loss or damage. Guests also agree that they may be evicted without further notice if these terms and conditions are breached.
