WELCOME
Black Cockatoo Cottages comprises of three cottages and one 3 bedroom house set on 5 picturesque acres with panoramic views of corner inlet and the Northern Mountains of Wilson’s Promontory.

QUIET, SERENE, PEACEFUL, BEAUTIFUL, ROMANTIC
Black Cockatoo cottages are set on 5 picturesque acres surrounded by a 600 acre dairy farm, panoramic views of corner inlet and the Northern Mountains of Wilson’s Promontory. Abundant native trees and flowering shrubs attract a variety of bird life including the rare Black Cockatoo.
The property has two one bedroom cottages, an open plan studio and a three bedroom house. You can experience both a tree and sea change here.
You can step into days of quiet solitude to refresh, reenergise and revitalise or have an active break, swimming, walking and exploring the prom or simply sit and indulge in the exquisite romance of your surrounds.

Studio Book

The studio is ideal for a romantic getaway (Maximum 2 people including children ). Set separated at the end of the property, it is the most ideal location for complete solitude. The entire façade has floor to ceiling windows to take in the sea and mountain views. You can also enjoy the same view without leaving your bed which is located in the front part of the studio. Your large visitors may be the curious Friesians kept in their neighbouring paddocks by strong farm fences. Your small visitors may be the Black Cockatoos, Fairy Blue wren and a variety of other bird species. The studio is open plan consisting of the bedroom area, living area, dining area and a kitchen. The bathroom has toilet, shower and a washing machine. There is a large patio in front ideal for bbq and sitting outdoors. The studio is fully self contained and is ideal for two persons only.

Meanwhile you can enjoy a pleasant family holiday in this large and spacious home. Terms and Conditions

• Please read all terms and conditions carefully
• All bookings are subject to these terms and conditions.
• All bookings are subject to prevailing Government regulations. Any additional information that maybe required must be provided within 24 hours of
request. Providing false information and failure to abide by any Government regulations will result in your booking being cancelled. Our cancellation
policy will apply.
• You must be at least 18 years of age to make a booking at Black Cockatoo Cottages.
• The person making the booking will be deemed to have accepted these Terms and Conditions on behalf of all persons who will be staying under the booking.
• If booking via a travel agent, these terms and conditions provided to your travel agent will apply to your booking. You should ask your travel agent for a copy of these terms and conditions.
TRAVAL INSURANCE:
• We Strongly recommend appropriate insurance cover to protect guests against any unforeseen circumstances.
COVID-19
We have been informed by the authorities that COVID-19 and its possible repercussions are now common knowledge. Normal commercial terms will
apply to all bookings, subject to all Government directives and regulations. As a result, we do not have any special COVID-19 refund policies.”

For direct bookings, in the event of a Victorian Government declared lock down; If the guest is from a lock down area we will offer a free change of dates.
This will be subject to applicable rates and minimum stay requirements and will be valid for 1 year

PAYMENT
• Full payment is required for bookings within 14 days of check in date
• Bookings more than 14 days prior to check-in date will require a 30% deposit and the balance payable 14 days prior to check in date
• If deposits or final payments are not received on the due dates, the booking will be deemed invalid and subject to cancellation and any monies paid in relation to the booking will be forfeited.
CANCELLATION AND REFUNDS
All refunds will be less our costs
• Cancellation within 14 days of arrival is NON REFUNDABLE. ( If the entire booked period can be re let you will be refunded less 10%)
• Cancellations more than 14 days before check in will be refunded less 10%
• If your booking is through a third-party site, other terms and conditions will apply for cancellations and refunds. Please check the relevant site for details.
In the unlikely event that we have to cancel your booking due to unforeseen circumstances (such as ill health, natural disaster…) you will receive a full
refund. This will end any and all obligations we have to you.
AMENDMENTS
• Change of dates within 14 days of check-in will be considered a new booking and will be subject to the applicable rates and minimum stays. Cancelled dates are NON-REFUNDABLE. ( If the entire booked period can be re let you will be refunded less 10%)
• All bookings and payments are non-transferable
• No Shows are NON REFUNDABLE
• Early departures or late arrivals are NON-REFUNDABLE
CHECK-IN
• Check in time is from 2:00pm – 7:00pm
• if you are arriving after 7:00pm please contact reception 0438506468 to make alternate check in arrangements or you may not be able to check in.
• A valid photo ID and a valid credit card must be presented at check-in
• A security deposit will be debited to your credit card to cover incidentals including cleaning in excess of normal cleaning, breakages, loss of items and any other applicable charges. This will be refunded after check-out if no charges are applicable.
CONDITIONS OF STAY
• Parties and excess noise making is strictly prohibited. Any behavior that will disturb the quiet ambiance, bird life and other guests is not permitted and those engaging in such behavior will have their booking cancelled and evicted without a refund.
• Visitors are not permitted on the property day or night.
• Bringing more people (including infants, babies and children) than indicated in your booking and confirmation, without prior consent will result in immediate cancellation of your booking and eviction without refund. Each cottage and the entire property are governed by occupancy laws which only permit a fixed number of persons.
• Children are not catered to on this property but are not excluded. Children must always be supervised. There is an unfenced dam on our property and low voltage electric fences in the surrounding dairy farms. This is a rural property with all its associated hazards and children must always be supervised.
• Children must be kept away from other guest residences.
• Smoking is not permitted inside any of the accommodation. An additional cleaning charge of $500 will apply if you smoke inside.
• Pets or animals of any kind are not permitted under any circumstances. Smuggling of them will result in extra cleaning fees and immediate cancellation and eviction without refund.
• Management reserves the right to remove or refuse any persons
• Cottages should be left in tidy condition to avoid extra cleaning charges
• Caravans and Tents are not permitted
• Fires of any sort are strictly prohibited
• Group Bookings: Person making the booking is responsible for the group and must be present for the duration of the entire stay. Goods moved between dwellings must be returned to the original dwelling before check out to avoid extra charges

CHECK-OUT
• Check out is before 10:00 am
• Late Check out will be charged at $50.00 per hour or part there-of, to cover the cleaning crew wait costs.
GENERAL
• Management reserves the right to cancel or refuse any bookings.
• Management reserves the right to change these terms and conditions at any time.
