The Brougham Arms Hotel is in one of the city's finest locations, situated on the corner of Williamson Street & Brougham Street. This is within minutes walking distance to Bendigo's CBD and local train station.

Located at the rear of the Hotel are our newly renovated motel units. In all, there are 7 motel units, including one 2 bedroom fully self contained unit with separate dining and living area along with its own courtyard. There are 4 Deluxe Twin/Double units with both a Queen and a Single Bed & 2 Standard Twin/Double Rooms with both a Queen and a Double fold out bed. Free off street parking, free wifi on whole of property, kitchenette, kids stay free.

Our hotel is open from 11am 7 Days a Week.

The Restaurant offers an a la carte menu created by our Award Winning Chef, Greg Egan. Our Restaurant is open for Lunch and Dinner and the Counter Meals reign in the Public Bar. Our newly opened Tapa's Courtyard overlooks leafy Williamson Street where you can enjoy a drink over some Tapas in the evening.

We also cater for private events, either exclusively in the Tapa's Courtyard for up to 50 guests.

Loss of or damage to guests’ property

Part 5.2 of the Australian Consumer Law and Fair Trading Act 2012 may make an accommodation provider liable to make good the loss of a guest’s property in certain circumstances even though the loss is not caused by the fault of the accommodation provider, or the provider’s agent.
The liability of the accommodation provider under the Act—
• applies only to a guest of the accommodation provider;
• applies only for the period for which the guest is provided accommodation;
• is limited to $300 for each room provided for the use of the guest on the day, unless the guest’s property was placed in a safekeeping service;
• is limited to $3000 for each room in respect of a guest’s property that was placed in a safekeeping service (excluding a safe in a room);
• does not cover motor vehicles and property owned by the guest left in or on a motor vehicle.

Part 5.2 does not limit any other right or remedy available under the Australian
Consumer Law and Fair Trading Act 2012.

Requirement of Victorian Commission for Gambling & Liquor Regulation

A Resident’s Register must be kept on licensed premises where accommodation is provided by holders of a general license, a late night (general) license, an on premises license, or a late night (on-premises) license.
The licensee must produce for inspection the register if requested to do so by a Compliance Inspector or other authorized persons.

The time frame for the release of any preauthorisation is determined by the credit card provider, not the Hotel.

Additional Credit Card Fee:

If you are settling your account with a credit card, please note that a credit card transaction fee will apply. Current fee is 1.5% for all types of credit card. Fee is subject to change. Payments by Cash or EFTPOS do not attract transaction fees.

Maximum Occupants - If you require additional beds for additional occupants, this must not exceed maximum occupants for the specified room. You will need to add a Fold out Bed or Portacot to your booking if required. Linen will also be provided.

Smoking is not permitted in rooms. There is a fine of $200.00 will be charged if you breach this policy.

Payment Policy

Booking will be confirmed after full payment has been made - Payment is required at the time of booking.

Cancellation Policy

1. In the event of confirmed cancellation 7 days before your arrival date no fee will be charged.
2. In the event of cancellation within 7 Days before your arrival date arrival you will be charged a fee of 100% of the full cost of your reservation.
3. In the event of a failure to show on the booked date you will be charged a fee equivalent to 100% of the full cost of the reservation.
