All guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in.
Check in time is from 2pm. Check out time is 10am.
Early Check Ins/ Late Check Outs are subject to availability & must be arranged prior to arrival. Fees apply.
No smoking is allowed on this property - $100 penalty applies to smoke affected rooms.
The Sails Motel has a no party policy. No disruptive noise, excessive drinking or large gatherings are permitted.
We reserve the right to vacate any guest or group who exhibits anti social behaviour from the premises at any time during your stay, with no refunds considered.

Payment Policy

Payment policies

All bookings:
Deposits are required to secure all reservations.
Balance of payment is collected in full on check in.
Deposits are required for each room listed on the booking.
Credit cards provided must be valid across applicable deposit windows and dates of reservation.

General bookings:
A first nights deposit is collected 48 hours prior to arrival.

Long Stays: 5+ nights
50% is required 7 days prior to arrival.
Dec/Jan 50% is required 14 days prior.

Group Bookings: 3+ rooms:
50% is required 7 days prior to arrival or total value of all rooms if one night.
Dec/Jan 50 % one month prior

5+ rooms:
10% is required at time of booking.
50% is required one month prior to arrival.

Christmas & New Years:
(25th December to 31 January):
A first nights deposit is collected 7 days prior to arrival.

School Holidays and Public Holidays:
A first nights deposit is collected 72 hours prior to arrival.

Festivals:
Applies to Bluesfest, Splendour & Falls:
50% deposit is collected 2 months prior to the arrival date.

Reservations are not considered confirmed until the deposit is taken to secure the booking.
If credit cards are invalid or declined The Sails Motel reserves the right to cancel the booking.

The Sails Motel reserves the right to change or modify the booking, products, rates, services, programs and terms described at any time without notice and without liability.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation & Modifications

Any refunds owing to Modification of bookings are subject to Management discretion.

General Bookings
No shows, cancellations or modifications within the applicable deposit window for your reservation may result in forfeit of your first nights deposit.

Festivals/black out dates/School & Public Holidays
Deposits are non-refundable within applicable deposit window. The Sails Motel reserves the right to charge the value of your entire stay for cancellations, modifications or no shows within these dates.
Please be aware that we will not hold rooms without a valid credit card at the time of booking.

Long Stays (Applies to booking over 5 days)
If booking is cancelled or modified within 7 days of the arrival date, the deposit is non refundable.

Group Bookings (5 or more rooms)
All group booking deposits are non refundable.
Cancellation & Modifications are subject to fees.
