Bungarra Alpine Centre is located in the heart of the Snowy Mountains. We provide accommodation in picturesque bushland for school, family and social groups, mountain biking and sporting clubs, and can cater for all types of groups from 10 - 200 people.
Please email any inquiries and we would be happy to accommodate your group.
PLEASE NOTE; For Winter Last Minute Deals, bookings will close on the Thursday at noon before the weekend. There will be no access to lodge common areas such as kitchens or lounge rooms.

Firmin has 6 dorm rooms, each with ten beds. Bathrooms are shared between two dorm rooms. It also has two staff rooms with three beds in each and a shared bathroom facility. Features a loungeroom with gas fire place and flat screen TV. Games room with pool table and table tennis, Drying Room. Finally you have a full commercial kitchen, with walk in cool room and freezer. Free access to our bike trail network, nearby fire pit and large veranda, means you will feel at home outside. Each Bed is a single and comes with a fitted sheet, pillow and pillow case. Guests will need to bring their own sleeping bag or doona and towels.

Each lodge has three dorm rooms each with five bunks for a total of ten beds in each room, each room has its own ensuite.
There is also a 'staff area' with two bedrooms, each with three beds, bathroom and small sitting area. Each bed is a single with a fitted sheet, pillow and pillow case. Guests will need to bring their own sleeping bag or doona and towels.
When one wing is booked your group will get exclusive use of one of our Trains as a recreation room. Each train features a ping pong table, flat screen TV and couches. A common room/kitchen is also part of the site for your use. Featuring refurbished common room, with commercial grade dishwasher, two large ovens, one with flat top grill the other with gas burners. Free access to Bungarra Alpine Centre bike tracks (weather permitting) is included. Contact us directly if you wish to book the other wing.

Alpha lodge can sleep up to 64. With five dorms rooms, three of which have twelve beds and two have eight beds. Two 'leader' rooms have three beds. Features recently renovated bathrooms, new disabled bathroom, commercial kitchen with pass through dishwasher and large oven with gas burner top. Each bed is a single and has a fitted sheet, pillow case and pillow. Guests will need to bring their own sleeping bag or doona and towels. Included is free access to Bungarra's extensive mountain bike trails, and use of large outdoor firepit.

Terms & Conditions

Terms and conditions; Payment of the accommodation tariff constitutes the guest’s acceptance of the following terms and conditions
1. Guests are unable to stay at Bungarra Alpine Centre who are currently experiencing COVID symptoms or have knowingly been in contact with a person who has had COVID within the past two weeks.
2. Guests must adhere to current social distancing guidelines, Bungarra room limits and COVID personal hygiene standards.
3. Guests should provide their own sanitising and PPE products.
4. Lodge must be kept and left in a clean and tidy manner (see lodge check out list), all dishes to be washed and put away, any beds that have been slept in are to be stripped of sheet and pillowcase and rubbish disposed of in bins. Failure to do so will incur an additional fee.
5. Any damage to lodge is to be immediately reported to the site manager.
6. Groups must nominate one person as the point of contact for the guests stay.
7. Breakages and damages of any type must be reported immediately, and their costs paid
unless deemed normal wear and tear.
8. The cost of any medical services provided to guests or leaders during the program
is the responsibility of the group.
9. The Site Manager has the right to ask any group or group members to leave the accommodation at any time if he/she considers their behaviour to be unacceptable, unsafe or are found to be not following the above guidelines
10. By providing credit card details, the customer is acknowledging the right of the management of Bungarra Alpine Centre, to charge for any damages or cleaning that is required on completion of stay.
11. Customers agree and undertake to use their room/lodge responsibly. Illegal, unlawful or unsociable activities will not be undertaken on the premises. Therefore, any conduct contrary to accepted standards of behaviour and public order will result in the management asking the customer to leave the property with no compensation and/or refund if a payment has already been made. If no payment has been made, the customer will have to pay the price of nights already stayed before leaving the property.
12. All reservations made via the Website or Mobile Services imply consultation and full and unreserved acceptance of these terms and conditions and the conditions of sale for the rate reserved.
13. Customers agree to these terms and conditions and the conditions of sale for the rate reserved at the time of reservation; no reservation is possible without this agreement.
14. Customers are solely responsible for their choice of services and the suitability of those services for their needs.
15. Reservations with prepayment cannot be changed and/or cancelled in any way, and sums paid in advance as a deposit cannot be refunded. This is indicated in the conditions of sale for the rate.
However, cancellation due to a government change in COVID policy OR related to an active case of COVID are fully refundable.
16. Bungarra Alpine Centre is a smoke free site, and smoking within the confines of the lodges will incur a cleaning fee.
17. Bungarra Alpine Centre does not allow guests to bring pets or animals on site. Able assisting animals are exempt from the above rule, but management must be notified in advance of stay.
18. In the event that the chosen lodge/room is not available, or in cases of force majeure, the management reserves the possibility of accommodating the customer totally or partially in a lodge/room of equivalent category for the same type of services.
19. No general or specific condition communicated by the customer can be incorporated into these terms and conditions.
20. The number of guests should not exceed the number stated on the Confirmation/Booking form. Additional fees per night will apply for excess guests not notified to the Operator in advance.
21. Check-in time is from 2pm and Check-out is 9am. Guests must request at the time of booking for a later check-out and or earlier check-in time, acceptance will at management discretion. This will incur a $50.00 fee per hour or part thereof. The earliest and latest a guest can check-in or out is 1pm (subject to availability).

Payment Policy

Credit cards details are kept for security only, guests need to pay by direct deposit prior to stay.
Booking dates are not secured until a deposit has been received, final payment must be made no later than seven days out from the start of the booking date.

Cancellation Policy

A administration fee will charged at 10% of the total booking fee should a guest cancel.

For large bookings a deposit may be required to secure the dates. Booking deposits are non-refundable. Cancellation charges are at the discretion of site management.
