Camden Motor Inn offers the perfect location for the business / leisure traveler, families, couples, and singles with a choice of modern fastidiously clean rooms. We are located 4km south of Surfers Paradise on the beach side of the Gold Coast Highway, opposite the Mermaid Village Shopping Centre with restaurants, eateries, a medical centre, just 20 metres away. Restaurants include Thai, two Chinese, Goccia Italian, fish and chips, Subway, Coffeeshop , Mermaid Beach and Nobby Beach Surf Clubs ( with both offering free courtesy bus ) Japanese Sushi, Poke Poke , Baskin and Robbins, Gelati Shop and a BWS bottleshop. We are also just 100m from the beach so you can enjoy the best the Gold Coast has to offer. Pacific Fair , the Casino and Convention Centre are close by.

We are ideally situated in the heart of the Gold Coast with easy access to all the theme parks, major shopping centres, Conrad Jupiter's Casino, the Convention Centre and sport's stadiums. Camden Motor Inn is on a bus route with a bus stop nearly outside the door, only a 20 minutes drive to the Gold Coast International Airport and just over one hour to Brisbane International Airport. Both airports have bus transfers available.

Our friendly Reception is staffed between the hours of 7am - 7pm to allow easy check in procedure and to assist with other guests requests and booking needs. Guests arriving after hours must phone during office 24 hours prior to their arrival to arrange for late check in procedure ( security key box ) . Parking is freely available in our basement carports. Our Guest Laundry is open from 8am - 6.30pm at a cost of $5 per load with satchel of powder provided. Our Saltwater Pool and Spa is open from 7.30am - 7pm and our gas BBQ along with a package of utensils is situated in the poolside setting and is free for guests use. FREE WIFI is available in every room.
Two rooms only ( 4 and 5 ) INTERCONNECT with internal door - they are suitable for a large family ( sleeps 6 ) and can be booked together , subject to availability, by ringing us direct.

CAMDEN MOTOR INN is a clean, comfortable and affordable family run accommodation that will provide everything required to make your stay on the Gold Coast a pleasure. Hosts Jac and Rossco returned from central Queensland in March 2017 after running a wonderful old country pub for two years, the Wellshot Hotel in Ilfracombe, and are delighted to be back home on the Gold Coast. Rossco, a solicitor of 35 years and former Director of Operations at World Expo 88 and Jac , a horticulturist, are gradually improving the gardens and accommodation at Camden to give maximum pleasure to guests in this beautiful part of the world. Mermaid Beach is special - Hedges Avenue at the end of our Tamborine Street has Queensland's most expensive mansions, some up to 20 million dollars and beyond, whereas other parts of our suburb are much more affordable, although developers continue to buy up older properties and build new residential apartment blocks.
We feel Camden Motor Inn is a bit of a throwback to earlier times like the 50's and 60's when families enjoyed the simple things in life - sun, surf, sand, sleep, a cold drink at sunset, but most of all, family togetherness.
