Cecilia's On Hay is Kalgoorlie's premier Hotel and Restaurant. We pride ourselves on quality of food and service. Our rooms are quirky and upmarket.

The history of the building is extensive as it was one of the oldest brothels (then called Langtrees) in Kalgoorlie which was frequented by the likes of Alan Bond in its hey day. Many deals were won and lost within these walls. The brothel was extensively refurbished in 2000 to create a classy upmarket venue. In the down turn business slowed so it was refurbished again with all the brothel themed beds and memorabilia were sold off and new furniture and beds bought in to transform Langtrees into a tapas bar and guest house. Unfortunately a liquor licence was refused so it sat empty for 3 1/2 years. We offered to open it up and as they say the rest is history.

We have 2 spa rooms, motel style rooms, family rooms and a 1 bedroom unit. The alfresco dining area is fantastic for weddings etc with over 5000 fairy lights. Functions of all occasions can be catered for from tapas to buffet. The dining room for superb meals, including Vegan & Vegetarian, and drinks is open from

Breakfast : Friday to Sunday 7.00 to 10.00
Sunday Night Roast { buffet } 5.00 to 8.00

We boast as do our customers, the best cocktails and sangria in Kalgoorlie. We are situated 2 blocks from the start of town and the visitors center. A tram can be booked to take you on a 2 hour tour of the city past the mine museum, super pit and Mt Charlotte to name a few. It is the best way to see our beautiful city if on time constraints or to map out what you want to go back to later in the day etc.

Thank you for choosing to book your accommodation with us. Please ensure you read the information below to ensure your stay is enjoyable.
All bookings are accepted on the basis that you have read all information on the website, understood the following Terms and Conditions and our cancellation policy.

An ETA will ensure a faster check in. Credit card details required upon arrival.

Please note we do not have 24 hour concierge. Check in is between 4 pm -10 pm outside these times will be available by calling 0427170562 to gain access (we live on site). Check out is 10.00 am unless prior arrangements are made with management.

There is no smoking allowed inside the rooms. If there is evidence of such including a smoke odor you will be charged a fee of $100.00 per room to cover the cleaning of curtains, carpets and extra laundry.

Departure - the property should be left in a similar state to its condition on arrival. Any Damage, Breakages, Theft and Loss are the guest's responsibility during their stay. The owner reserves the right to use existing payment facilities to compensate for Damage, Breakages or Theft to the property.

Payment in full is required on arrival

Cancellation Policy

If cancellation is within 2 days of booking date 50% of total cost of stay to be charged.
If less than 24 hrs, 100% will be charged.
