Wallaby Cottage - Multiple Nights Book
Wallaby Cottage is very private
This 1900’s historic cottage that was relocated to Cedar Glen in the year 2000. It was originally from Marburg, off the Warrego Highway on the way to Toowoomba.
The Wallaby Cottage was shifted out in one piece and it was a major challenge getting it to where it sits today. The truck carrying the cottage had to reverse it up the hill, so to assist, we towed it with a large drot and 2 X 80-horse power four-wheel-drive tractors. Even with all of this extra power, the cottage was not going an inch further than where it is now located. The cottage takes its name from the family of wallabies that can regularly be seen from the veranda, particularly early morning and late afternoon.
Experience the original features of a classic Queenslander cottage, and enjoy the rural views as you relax on the verandah.

The cottage boasts many original features and offers a true turn-of -the-century living experience, but with all the comforts of modern living!

Dairy Cottage - Multiple Nights Book
The Dairy Cottage is in an ideal location with spectacular views of the farm and Lamington national Park.
Roomy enough for a large family group, the air-conditioned Dairy Cottage has a gas stove and oven, fridge, and microwave.
Built in 1949, this Cottage was built to provide housing for the people who would run the Cedar Glen Dairy. Initially after the Dairy closed in 1979, the cottage was rented to permanent tenants, but in the early 1990s as demand for Farmstay accommodation grew, we began renting the cottage to guests on a self contained basis. We have since done some renovations to keep improving the facilities, and it is now occupied on a regular basis, typically by larger families or groups of friends.
