Terms & Conditions

CENTRAL AVENUE APARTMENTS – TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. DEFINITIONS

• “Booking” means the period for which you have paid to stay at the Property.
• “Property” means Central Avenue Apartments, 1 Charles West Avenue Margaret River and all its fixtures, fittings and equipment.
• “Management” means the owners and managers of the Property.
• "Guests" means the persons who stay overnight in the Property during the Booking
• "Visitor" means a person a Guest permits to visit the Property during the Booking
• “Peak Rates” any period that our Peak Rates apply including Easter and Christmas & New Year Periods
• “Group Booking” means two or more apartments booked
• “Long Stays” means any booking 7 nights or more
• “Deposit” means the amount (50% of total Booking price) which is charged to the credit card details provided by the Guest upon confirmation of a Booking.

2. PAYMENT AND ACCEPTANCE OF BOOKING

• Payment of the Deposit constitutes acceptance by the Guest of these Terms and Conditions.
• When we receive your booking we deduct the Deposit – being 50% of the total amount due save for in the case of one night bookings payment IN FULL will be deducted at the time of booking.
• Any balance payable must be paid on arrival. If you check-in on the weekend or outside business hours the balance will be deducted from the credit card details provided on the next working day unless prior payment arrangements are made.
• We accept the following on-line payment methods – VISA/MASTERCARD/AMEX. Plus EFT and cash if paying in person. Payments of amounts must be received in Australian dollars

3. CHECK IN/ OUT

• Check-in is not before 3pm on the arrival date. Check out is not later than 11am on the departure date.
• Early arrival and late departure is subject to prior arrangement and extra charges may apply.
• You must notify Management of expected late arrival at least 72 hours prior to arrival to receive after hour’s self-check-in procedure.
• Check-in/check-out can be done from our office during office hours (9am -5pm) unless special arrangements have been made prior to arrival.

4. SECURITY BOND

• Credit Card details linked to the booking or provided on arrival will be retained as a security. Any damage or expense incurred by Management as a result of your breach of these Terms & Conditions will be charged against the credit card. Examples include but are not limited to excessive WIFI downloads, breakages, theft or damages incurred during your stay, excessive cleaning requirements or extra guests or visitors beyond those declared.

5. UNAVAILABILITY

• If the Property becomes unavailable for your occupancy due to unforeseen circumstances (eg. fire or storm damage) then Management will inform you immediately and endeavour to find you suitable alternative accommodation. If we are unable to find you alternative accommodation we will refunded you any moneys paid for accommodation not provided in full.

6. PARTIES & FUNCTIONS

• Parties and functions on the Property are strictly prohibited during your Booking.
• Breach of this condition may result in immediate termination of the Booking and eviction without refund. Extra charges may apply for security, additional cleaning, garbage removal and repairs.

7. LINEN AND TOWELS

• We supply linen, pillows, blankets and bath towels which must be left in the apartment on departure. Further linen may be hired through Management. Beach towels are not included.
• The Property does not provide daily room servicing. However we can provide a cleaning service and linen change upon request and for an additional cost.

8. PETS

• Pets are not allowed at the Property.

9. YOUR OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES

• You must comply with all applicable Central Avenue Apartments Rules and all instructions from Management concerning occupancy, property, health, safety and quiet enjoyment of the Property and our neighbours.
• You are responsible for any damage, breakages, theft or loss to the Property during your stay. You must notify Management of this immediately and we may recover from you repair or replacement cost (at our discretion)
• Only the guests nominated and agreed in the Booking may stay in the Property overnight. If any other guests stay extra charges may apply or the agreement may be terminated without refund.
• Disturbance to our neighbours, including excessive noise, is prohibited and may result in termination and eviction without refund and extra charges may be made for security and other expenses and loss of income.
• Before departure all rubbish must be removed and put in the appropriate council rubbish bins provided downstairs. All crockery and cutlery must be washed and packed away. The Property must be left in a tidy condition.
• Extra cleaning charges may be incurred for the cleaning of dirty dishes, smoking in the apartment, stained bedding, removal of excessive rubbish etc. Should the cleaning fee be more than the usual cost for cleaning the property the additional cost will be charged to your credit card.
• All furniture and furnishings must be left in the position they were in when you arrived.
• The property should be vacated on time and secured. All windows and doors are to be locked. All keys must be returned to Management or as otherwise directed.
• Smoking is not permitted inside the apartments.
• Smoking is permitted on the balcony of the apartments.

10. PROBLEMS OR COMPLAINTS

• In the case of any problem or complaint you must inform Management at the earliest opportunity so we have the chance to rectify the situation as quickly and efficiently as possible. You must allow repair/service access to the Property during reasonable hours.
• Any complaint, which cannot be resolved locally, must be notified in writing to Management prior to departure from the Property.
• Failure to follow this procedure this may hinder the ability of Management to rectify the problem or complaint and reduce or extinguish any claim you may have.
• We highly recommend all guests purchase travel insurance to cover any unexpected illnesses or losses that may affect their travel plans.

Payment Policy

DEPOSIT - PAYMENT POLICY:
Once we receive your booking we deduct 50% of the total amount due from the credit card details provided as a deposit. The balance is payable on arrival. If you check-in on the weekend or outside business hours the balance will be deducted from the credit card details provided on the next working day unless prior arrangements are made.

Cancellation Policy

CANCELLATION POLICY - GENERAL:
Cancellations or changes to a booking must be made at least 72 hours prior to the check-in date or you will be charged the full amount of your deposit. Cancellations made before 72 hours of check-in date will incur a $25 administration charge. CANCELLATION POLICY - PEAK RATE PERIODS: EASTER, CHRISTMAS & NEW YEAR HOLIDAY PERIODS:
Cancellations or changes to a booking must be made at least 2 weeks prior to the check-in date or you will be charged the full amount of your deposit. Cancellations made before 2 weeks of check-in date will incur a $25 administration charge.
CANCELLATION POLICY - GROUP BOOKINGS (2 OR MORE APARTMENTS) & LONG STAYS (7 NIGHTS OR MORE):
Cancellations or changes to a booking must be made at least 2 weeks prior to the check-in date or you will be charged the full amount of your deposit. Cancellations made before 2 weeks of check-in date will incur a $25 administration charge.
• If Management is able to rebook some or all of the cancelled nights a refund may be made as long as no loss has been incurred by the Property in doing so.
• If you are eligible for a refund the amount will be refunded to the credit card linked to the booking
