Central Inn Taupo is a quiet and clean motel located in the heart of Taupo. From the motel, it is only a short walk to the lake’s edge, Taupo’s best restaurants, and all the other amenities our town has to offer. Each room offers a private space to relax with free wifi, entertainment options, and a kitchenette including fridge and microwave. There is free on-site parking for all guests. Pets are also welcome, please contact us directly for our pet policy.
Our motel operates a contactless check-in service. As part of this, you will be given the unique pin code to your room 48 hours before your arrival.

Check-in Policy
We operate a self check-in service. Guests will be contacted 48 hours prior to the commencement of their stay with a unique access code for their room.
This access code will be used on the lock box located near the entrance to your room.
There is no physical front desk or reception however you can reach us via telephone on 0275971600 at any time.
Privacy Policy
Central Inn Taupe supports secure online reservations using secure server technology because we want your experience to be simple and safe. We will only record your email address or other details you provide if you send us a message to request more information, for example emailing an inquiry.
Payments
All rates are quoted in New Zealand Dollars on a per night basis and include GST of 15%. All accounts must be settled directly with Central Inn Taupo in New Zealand Dollars.
The price advertised might not be the same price charged to the credit card account due to exchange rate. Fluctuations - This means that because we are based in New Zealand we have to convert your purchase to New Zealand Dollars at the exchange rate on the day it is processed.
Rates do not apply to conferences, conventions or special events for which contracted rates and special terms and conditions are available on request.
We accept Visa and Mastercard
A charge of 2.95% will be applied to all credit card payments made to Central Inn Taupo. You are welcome to contact us and ask to pay via bank transfer instead if you wish to avoid these charges.
PET POLICY:
We are "Pet Friendly" here at Central Inn Taupo, however we do ask that you follow our guidelines and that you make contact with us BEFORE your arrival if you have any questions regarding our Pet Policy , so that you and your pet can have an enjoyable stay with us :)
Only small to med sized dogs allowed in the rooms (Large dogs must sleep in vehicle)
Guests must provide appropriate pet bed or crate for pet to sleep on/in - Pets are NOT allowed on any furniture or bedding or blankets provided by the motel.
Pets must not be left unattended at the motel, if you go out, so does your pet :)
Guests agree to feed pets outside the room or in their crate to avoid any food spillage or soiling on carpeted areas.
Guests are responsible for cleaning up after their pet on motel property and in the neighbourhood.
Any disturbances such as barking must be curtailed to ensure other guests are not inconvenienced.
