Terms & Conditions
DETAILS REQUIRED
We require contact details including both email and phone number and a residential or business address.
All bookings require a credit or debit card to secure the booking. The booking confirmation will be sent once these details are provided. If a debit or credit card is not provided we are unable to accommodate you and your booking will be cancelled. The exception of this is businesses or organisations that are on our approved list of accounts - to which an invoice can be sent to pay via direct debit instead and no card details are required.
ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE
Check-In is available from 2.00pm and Check-Out strictly by 10. We may be able to offer early check in or late check out pending availability, but this is not guaranteed.
We request that on vacating, you leave the room in a clean and tidy condition - as close as possible to the condition it was presented to you.
DURING YOUR STAY
Security for possessions whilst staying at The Clydesdale Motel is your responsibility. The Clydesdale Motel management will not be responsible for any losses you may incur.
When driving on the property please drive at a walking pace of 5km/hour.
The Clydesdale Motel is a 100% non-smoking property. This is for the comfort of our guests as well as to reduce fire risk on the property and surrounds.
Please be mindful we are not a pet friendly motel. Pets are NOT allowed on the property.
Failure to comply may result in a request to vacate the property with no refund given.
We reserve the right to enter a room to turn off any appliance that may have inadvertently been left on, or to shut any windows or doors and retract blinds to prevent any weather damage.
We reserve the right to terminate your stay if you act in a manner that is unlawful, causes wilful damage to the property or causes a nuisance to neighbours or other guests. In these circumstances, no refund will be given, and we will not be responsible for any losses you may incur.
VISITORS
You are welcome to have day visitors whilst you are staying at The Clydesdale Motel. Overnight guests are strictly by arrangement and a charge applies. For security and safety management reasons, we ask that you advise us of any visitors.
Please note that parking at the room is limited to guest's vehicles only and visitors will be directed to a different area to park their vehicles.
We ask that you and your visitors respect the "quiet retreat" nature of our accommodation and do not adversely impact the amenity of other guests. This includes keeping noise at a reasonable level.
We reserve the right to ask visitors to leave if they are creating a disturbance or nuisance by their behaviour, and to charge you for any extra cleaning or damage incurred as a result of their actions
REPAIRS/DAMAGES
In the event of something not working, breaking, being lost or other damage, please advise us as soon as possible during your stay so that we can undertake any repairs/maintenance/replacement etc as soon as possible.
We cover minor breakages as normal wear and tear, however any major damage, loss that necessitates repair/replacement or additional cleaning may incur additional costs and you agree to cover these costs. We will discuss the cost with you before any charges are made.
CHANGES TO DATES
You are more than welcome to change the dates of your reservation providing the request is made at least 48hours before check in and we have the availability to cater for the new dates.
Payment Policy
Payment is made on departure using the card provided to secure your booking.
Visa/Mastercard payments are accepted but will incur a 1% surcharge.
A 2 % surcharge applies for all American Express card payments.
A 3% surcharge applies for all Diners Club card payments

Cancellation Policy
CANCELLATION POLICY
You are more than welcome to cancel your reservation providing the request is made at least 48hours before check in.
Cancellations within 48hours of check in will be charged a fee of the first night’s rate.
NO SHOW POLICY
In the instance that you fail to arrive for your booking without prior notice a fee of the first night’s rate will be deducted from the payment card on file however we will make every effort to contact you before this occurs.
