Terms & Conditions

TERMS and CONDITIONS. (Special COVID-19 Cancellation Term below.)
By making a booking the guest(s) accepts and agrees to abide to these Terms and Conditions, and authorises that their credit card may be debited for the booking amount and any additional charges, fees or costs as set out in these Terms and Conditions. The guest who makes a booking is accepting these Terms and Conditions on behalf of all persons involved. Use of the property, its contents, equipment and facilities are at your own risk. Bookings made via advertising websites; (not direct on Coastal View Cabins’ website,) will have additional Terms and Conditions per that site.) In these Terms and Conditions “I” refers to Mark Wrigley owner/director of Yanakie View Pty Ltd, t/a Coastal View Cabins.
By making a booking the guest(s) have agreed to a contract between themselves and Coastal View Cabins, as governed by these Terms and Conditions and relevant laws.
1. If you make a booking 60 days or less prior to your arrival date the full amount will be charged via your credit card as your deposit to confirm your booking.
2. If your arrival date is greater than 60 days then an immediate 50% deposit is required to confirm the booking. The balance is charged automatically no sooner than 30 days prior your arrival date.
3. I accept Eftpos if bookings are made with sufficient processing time; please contact me for details. Credit card details are still required at time of booking.
4. Check In is any time after 2 p.m.
5. Check Out 10:00a.m.: To greatly assist me (thank you,) and to avoid a late departure fee @$35.00 per each half hour and part thereof, Check Out is any time before, and strictly no later than 10 am.
6. The property must be left in a similar state to the condition on arrival; clean and tidy. All dishes and pots must be washed and put away. Failure to leave the property in a satisfactory manner will be the liability of the person making the booking and result in you incurring additional cleaning fees @$35.00 per each half hour and part thereof.
7. Any stains, breakages, damage, property loss, property removed or theft will be the liability of the person named on the booking, and you agree to your credit card being charged accordingly to make reparations. All associated repairs and replacements will be the liability of the person making the booking, and you agree to your credit card being charged accordingly.
8. No Pets at all are ever allowed on the property. Additional cleaning fees @$35.00 per each half hour and part thereof will be charged if this Condition is breached, additionally your booking will be immediately forfeited, with all people being required to leave the property immediately. Cancellation conditions apply.
9. No Smoking inside the cabins. Additional cleaning fees @$35.00 per each half hour and part thereof will be charged if this Condition is breached, additionally your booking will be immediately forfeited, with all people being required to leave the property immediately. Cancellation conditions apply. (Note: It is illegal to smoke inside as Coastal View Cabins constitutes a workplace.)
10. No lighting of fires or combustion BBQs. If this condition is breached your booking will be immediately forfeited, with all people being required to leave the property immediately. Cancellation conditions apply. (During Fire Restriction periods the police will be notified.)
11. No additional guests (Maximum 2 adults, no children) to stay than agreed in the confirmation email; this includes children, infants and babies. Having additional guests on the property will result in additional charges at the rate of 50% of the booking tariffper person; additionally your booking will be forfeited, with ALL people being required to leave the property immediately. Cancellation conditions apply.
12. No day visitors are ever allowed on the property, without the written permission from management. Please discuss with me if you wish to have a visitor. Having additional people on the property, without written permission, will result in additional charges, additionally your booking will be forfeited, with ALL people being required to leave the property immediately. Cancellation conditions apply.
13. Guests must be considerate with their noise levels not affecting others. I am not suited to and do not accept schoolies type or functions or any party groups of any kind. Breaches of this Condition will result in your booking being forfeited, with ALL people being required to leave the property immediately. Cancellation conditions apply.
14. Breaches of Federal, State, Local Law and Covid Requirements will result in your booking being forfeited, with all people being required to leave the property immediately. Cancellation conditions apply.
15. The free Wi-Fi is never a guaranteed service as I am reliant on the supplier.
16. I am not responsible for any misinterpretations or misunderstanding about the facility booked or these Terms and Conditions; cancellation conditions apply.
17. I reserve the right to enter a facility at any time to ensure compliance with these Terms and Conditions.

Payment Policy

Cancellation Policy

CANCELLATIONS and BOOKING ALTERATIONS.
1. Special COVID-19 Term. There are Government Covid requirements, closures and restrictions outside of everyone’s control. If a booking is required to be cancelled/altered because of COVID-19 then the Cancellation/Alteration Fee and all credit card charges will be waived. For cancelled bookings the guest may decide to receive 100% refund or a 100% Credit Note (valid for 2 years) of all money already collected. Altered bookings may incur different tariffs due to seasonal tariff rates, or have different minimum stay requirements. Guests who have made their booking via other advertising websites will also be bound by that websites Terms and Conditions. This Term solely relates to Covid Cancellations and Alterations, it is void once Covid restrictions cease.
2. Cancellations requested earlier than 14 days prior to arrival day, receive full refund less $45.00 Cancellation Fee per cabin.
3. Cancellations requested within 14 days will only be refunded if I am able to refill the period booked, less $45.00 Cancellation Fee per cabin.
4. Of course NO refunds/reschedules for non-arrivals, late arrivals or early departures.
5. Of course NO refunds/reschedules when management forfeits the booking and guests are required to leave the property per these Terms and Conditions or breach of a law.
6. You will be required to leave the property immediately for breaches of Coastal View Cabins Terms and Conditions, NO refund shall strictly apply.
7. Booking Alterations, including changing cabins, made earlier than 14 days prior arrival day shall incur a $45.00 Alteration Fee per change.
8. Booking Alterations, including changing cabins, within 14 days of arrival day, are deemed to be a cancellation, guests will cover the cost of the original booking unless I am able to refill the period booked, the additional $45.00 cancellation fee shall apply per cabin.
9. Unfortunately and extremely rarely, circumstances, and in my sole discretion, mean that I may need to cancel a booking. If this happens, I will refund 100% to the original credit card (only) and assist with the contact details of alternate accommodation providers. Coastal View Cabins will then have no further liability in this matter. For guests who have booked through an advertising website I will refund 100% of the money I receive from that site.
10. To avoid financial losses I strongly recommend that you have Travel Insurance.
