Terms & Conditions

TERMS & CONDITIONS:

1. Rates – All rates are quoted in Philippine Pesos (PHP).
2. Payment Policy – Full payment must be settled upon check-in through the following methods:
- Cash
- Online Bank Transfer
- Credit/Debit Card at the Front Desk
(For website bookings, the credit card provided online is for reservation and security purposes only—no deductions will be made. Guests must still pay the required down payment via online bank transfer or cash deposit.)
- Discounts (PWD & Senior Citizen) – Discounts can only be applied upon arrival upon presentation of a valid physical ID.
3. Identification – A valid government-issued photo ID or passport must be presented at the Front Desk upon check-in.
4. Check-in & Check-out
- Check-in: 3:00 PM
- Check-out: 12:00 NN
*Early check-in and late check-out requests are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
5. Booking Revisions & Cancellations – Revisions must be arranged through our Reservations Office.
- Cancellations are subject to approval.
- Rebooking, if approved, will be valid for up to three (3) months.
6. Extensions & Rebooking – Night extensions and rebooking requests are subject to availability.
7. No-Show & Shortened Stay Policy
- No-shows will result in the forfeiture of the down payment (non-refundable).
- No refunds will be provided for in-house guests in case of an early check-out.
8. Smoking Policy – Smoking (cigarettes and e-cigarettes) inside the room is strictly prohibited. Guests caught violating this policy will be charged the full nightly rate of the room.
9. Pet Policy – The hotel follows a strict NO PETS POLICY. However, PETS are allowed in the restaurant area only.
10. Food & Beverage Policy – Bringing outside food, cooked meals, strong-smelling food, beverages, and liquor into the premises is strictly prohibited.
11. Lost & Damaged Items
- Lost towels (of any kind provided with accommodation) will incur applicable charges.
- Stained linens will be assessed, and charges will apply based on severity.
12. Security Deposit – A cash security deposit of PHP 3,000.00 per room is required upon check-in. This deposit is fully refundable upon check-out, subject to a damage inspection.
13. Credit Card Fraud Control
- To protect against fraud, guests must present the actual credit card used for booking along with a valid government-issued photo ID of the cardholder upon check-in.
- If the cardholder is not the guest, the following must be provided:
- A signed authorization letter from the cardholder
- Clear photocopies of the front and back of the credit card
- A valid government-issued photo ID of the cardholder
- The hotel reserves the right to deny check-in or cancel a reservation if these requirements are not met or if fraudulent activity is suspected.
- Discount Policy – All discount cards must be presented at the time of booking before payment. Discounts cannot be applied retroactively.
14. Legal Compliance – The hotel operates under the Hotel Keepers Act of the Philippines.
15. Municipal Ordinance on Environmental Fees (Effective October 18, 2022)
- All tourists (both domestic & foreign) visiting San Juan, La Union must pay an environmental fee per visit:
Local/International Tourists: PHP 50.00 per person
PWD/Senior Citizens: PHP 40.00 per person
Children (6 years old and below): Free

Important Notice
Please be advised that ongoing construction in and around the resort area may cause some noise between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM. While we are actively working with our construction team to minimize disturbances, we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Payment Policy

PAYMENT POLICY:

1. Guests are required to pay a 50% down payment within 24 hours of making a reservation. Failure to do so may result in the cancellation of the booking, allowing the reservation team to reopen availability. Requests for extensions will be considered based on demand.

2. Accepted Payment Methods:
- Bank Transfer
- Over-the-Counter Bank Deposit

*For website bookings: The credit card provided during online booking is for reservation and security purposes only—no charges will be deducted. Guests must still complete the down payment via online bank transfer or cash deposit after receiving the confirmation email.

Cancellation Policy

CANCELLATION and REBOOKING POLICY:

1. Standard Cancellations
- Cancellations made within 24 hours before the check-in date will result in the forfeiture of the down payment and are considered non-refundable.

2. General Cancellation Fee
- Cancellations made at any time are subject to a 30% cancellation fee, provided there is a valid reason and upon management approval.

3. Requirements for Cancellation Approval
- All cancellation requests must be supported by a valid reason and are subject to management approval.
- Acceptable reasons include:
A. Medical emergencies
B. Life-threatening or life-and-death situations
C. Serious accidents
D. Force majeure events (e.g., natural disasters, government-imposed restrictions)
- Valid proof is required to support any of the above reasons.

4. Rebooking Policy
- Rebooking is allowed within three (3) months from the original check-in date.
Rebooking is subject to room availability and current rates at the time of the new booking.
- Rebooking is only allowed on regular weekdays, and not on weekends, especially during Peak Seasons.
- Rebooking requests are not guaranteed and will be approved based on room availability at the time of the request.

5. Peak Season Policy
- During Peak Season, cancellations will not be approved, and payments are strictly non-refundable.
- In the event of a valid emergency, guests may still submit a cancellation request for management review and approval, with valid proof.
- Rebooking during Peak Season may be permitted, subject to availability and prevailing rates at the time of rebooking.
