Faversham House York is the earliest mansion house in inland Western Australia, listed with the Heritage Council and the National Trust. Faversham House offers 9 luxury rooms all with dedicated bathrooms. Because Faversham House is a heritage listed building, not all of the bathrooms are ensuite. This information is given in the room description. Private bathroom means dedicated to only one room, but is NOT ensuite.

Ideal for a romantic getaway, group stay or spectacular function, Faversham House is just 5 minutes walk from the centre of York, yet tranquil and private, set in 5 acres of manicured gardens, vineyards and countryside. As well as a library filled with all types of novels, gardening and history books, and board games, we also have FREE WIFI to all guest rooms.

Functions are a speciality of Faversham House, and we prides ourselves as offering “something a little bit different” . The whole house (7 -9 bedrooms) can be booked for private events, such as milestone birthdays, engagements, anniversaried or - "just because...."

Ideal also for a corporate function, with full conference and catering facilities.

York is rich in colonial history, and offers a choice of pubs, restaurants and things to do for all ages - perfect as a base for exploring the Avon Valley.

The style at Faversham House is relaxed and friendly, but with a 100% commitment to professional service. For those who book inclusive rate, breakfast of poached fruit, yoghurt, cereal and toast plus full cooked breakfast with free range eggs is served in the fabulous dining hall which has a banqueting table with seating of up to 30, or more intimate tables of 2 is included. Whatever your mood or inclination, Faversham House will not disappoint.

Enjoy a stay at this beautiful home at a budget rate. Previously used as servant quarters, these cosy basic bedrooms open onto a courtyard with outdoor seating and shared bathroom facilities (3 between 4 bedrooms). The rooms are air-conditioned and include linen, towels, and toiletries. Each room has wine glasses, cups, tea and coffee making facilities.

Cooked breakfast may be available in the manor dining room at a charge of $25/head subject to other bookings. Please see "extras" to request.

Please take the time to read our cancellation policy in full.
Reception is open until 6 pm. If you will be arriving later, please advise by email or telephone so we can be sure to be on hand to welcome you.
Checking in after 9 pm will incur a surcharge of $25.

Payment Policy

The card used to make your reservation is held in the event of a cancellation or no show. Payment may be taken once the 'no cancellation' date has passed. If you wish to use another card, or pay cash, please advise by return.

Early checkin of 12 noon or late checkout of 12 noon may be requested - $25 (see extras). Whilst we will do our best to provide this, it cannot be guaranteed.

Cancellation Policy

As a small boutique hotel, we have a strict cancellation policy. PLEASE READ THE DETAILS BELOW.

Request for cancellation must be confirmed either by phone (not message or text) or by email. Cancellation of a Friday, Saturday or public holiday booking requires 7 days notice. 3 days is required for Monday to Thursday bookings . Cancellations inside the above periods will result in a charge of one night’s accommodation or 50% of the booking, whichever is the greater.

No shows will result in the full amount being charged.

The demand for our rooms outstrips the supply, so this policy is applied without exception. Non refundable bookings will not be refunded under any circumstances.

Booking with Faversham House implies acceptance of these terms.

Whole house or conference bookings have different cancellation policies - please check your confirmation letter.
