This original Dutch house, built in 1789 is located on Middle street In 2008 Shanghai-based architect, Raefer Wallis of AOO, undertook the design for its renovation which was completed in 2012. The main building remains true to its heritage, retaining its original Dutch-style front entrance, high timber ceilings and towering arches. This blends seamlessly with the contemporary design of the side wing with its stunning rammed earth walls.
Every room has its own individual design and art, with an eclectic blend of Western and Oriental touches. This beautifully designed villa has four spacious bedrooms, each with its own bathroom (three en-suite), air-conditioning and overhead fans.
