Terms & Conditions

***By booking and staying at the Gold Coast Airport Motel, you agree to abide by all our policies, terms and conditions.***
***CHECK IN – Anytime after 2:00PM - CHECK OUT – Anytime prior to 10:00AM We are unable to offer late check outs sorry.
***PHOTO ID must be provided at check in. Primary guest must be 18 years of age or older.
***RECEPTION HOURS are 8:00AM to 5:00PM Everyday. For Arrivals after 5:00pm please contact Reception during office hours on (07) 5536 6244 or email info@goldcoastairportmotel.com.au for information on contact less check in. . WE ARE NOT 24 HOURS.
***SAME DAY BOOKINGS MUST check in prior to 9pm or they will be treated as a NO SHOW
***ROOM CAPACITIES - We have strict room capacities and will not allow these to be exceeded. Anyone exceeding room capacity will either be charged an additional $120 per additional person per night, or refused entry. Please book the number of rooms that covers the number of people you are bringing! This includes ALL PEOPLE, ADULTS AND CHILDREN.
**SMOKING NOT PERMITTED anywhere other than in the designated smoking area at the front of the building with ashtrays provided. By Queensland Law, smoking is strictly not allowed in or near the rooms or building, this includes balconies and the car park. Smoking in or near the rooms or building, balconies and car park will incur a penalty of $250.
**COOKING IN ROOMS NOT PERMITTED but we do provide a microwave for heating food. We also supply a toaster, cutlery and crockery,. Heating of food in the microwave or toaster is permitted but cooking in the room will incur a cleaning penalty to be determined by Management.
**ADDITIONAL FEES will be charged for the following. Any items taken or damaged, any part of the room damaged, the room being left requiring extra cleaning. Fees will be dependent on the amount of damage, theft or additional cleaning required. Smoking as per our No Smoking policy and cooking as per our No Cooking policy. Exceeding maximum room occupancy numbers.
**PUSHBIKES, SCOOTERS and other road going vehicles are not permitted in rooms. We are happy to store in our garage but they can only be accessed during Reception hours.
**Bookings are not confirmed until a valid credit card is provided and payment is made in full.
**Rates are subject to change at any time without notice. Any changes will not effect bookings already made and confirmed.
**Management reserves the right to refuse entry or to remove, any guest(s) they deem to be not abiding by any of our policies, or for any other reason decided by Management. This includes rudeness to staff, excessive noise and lack of consideration to other guests, damage to property, etc, etc.
**Guests are allocated ONE PARKING BAY PER ROOM during their stay and guests park their vehicles at their own risk. Our premises are under 24 hour video surveillance but the Gold Coast Airport Motel takes no responsibility for vehicles left. Vehicles left without authorisation may be towed.
**LOSS OF THE ROOM KEY will incur the cost of changing the locks for that room. This is subject to locksmith charge which on average is around $150 during weekdays and $180 during weekends. Locksmith invoice will be supplied to show exact cost.
**We are happy to store any items either on the day of check in or the day of check out. We can store items for longer for a small fee per item, please ask at reception for details .If any items are left in the room, they will be disposed of and are not the responsibility of the Motel to store for the guest. Luggage left must be collected no later than 6:00pm on the evening of check out, unless longer storage has been arranged in advance.
**We will not accept any parcels or mail sent to us on behalf of guests. If you wish to receive mail during your stay, please get it sent to the nearest Post Office who will keep it for your collection free of charge. Any parcels or mail that may arrive for guests will be returned to sender and not signed for.

Payment Policy

Payment is required in full 3 days prior to arrival and will be processed from credit card provided. If credit card fails, booking may be cancelled.

AMEX Cards incur a non refundable 2.0% fee

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made prior to 3 days before reservation date are fully refundable and will incur no cancellation fee. Cancellations made within that 3 days prior to arrival are not refundable.

All non refundable rate bookings are just that, non refundable. If you need to move that booking we are happy to do so if done prior to the 3 days prior to arrival.

Cancellations made within 3 days of arrival will be charged in full.

Refunds for cancellations will be processed within 1-5 business days from date of cancellation (if a refund is due).

AMEX Credit card fees are not refundable.

No shows will be treated as a cancellation.

Parking bookings can only be cancelled up to 3 days prior at no charge, cancellations made within that 3 day period will be charged in full.

****All cancellation policies are null and void if booking is a non refundable booking.****
