Terms & Conditions

CONDITIONS OF BOOKING AND OCCUPANCY
Please read these conditions carefully. Each person signing these conditions (“the Guest’) acknowledges and agrees that these conditions apply and extend to any person (also referred to as “Guest”) occupying or visiting the Room or resort complex and/or using the facilities in the resort complex at the invitation of or with the authority of the Guest. Conditions of booking are inclusive of but not limited to:
Management reserves the right to refuse occupancy to any person or persons refusing to do so.
CHECK IN from 3pm (till 10pm) on date of arrival and CHECK OUT 10am (latest) on date of departure, unless otherwise arranged with management.
Bookings are subject to availability. Some dates such as public holidays, school vacation times or other undisclosed dates may be excluded.
Occupancy starts and finishes on the dates shown on the receipt in accordance with check in and departure times.
The Guest will be liable for payment of any charges incurred by themselves or their guests together with all replacements and necessary costs for and damage or loss to the Room or its contents or the resort property caused by any Guest.
The Room must not be used for any unlawful purpose.
Only the number of people shown and paid for on the receipt may stay in the Room during.
No animals or pets are to be brought into the resort without the expressed prior knowledge and/or written authority of the Manager.
Neither the Resort nor the Management is liable for any injury, damage or loss of property which a Guest may sustain while on the resort complex or property grounds.
There is no refund for early departure.
The Resort or the Manager is not responsible for any mis-description of the Room.
In the event of the Guest desiring to cancel the booking, a credit will be applied to “the guest” accommodation account and held for a period of not more than 12 months after which time if no further booking is made the amount becomes the property of Girraween Environmental Lodge. No credit will be applied if booking is cancelled inside 14 days unless otherwise arranged with management.
The by-laws, rules and regulations of the resort complex and any reasonable requirement of the Manager must be complied with. If the guest fails to comply with the Managers request, the room must be vacated immediately.
The Manager may inspect the Room at any time with reasonable notice and at any time without notice if the Manager is of the opinion that there has been a breach of these conditions.
If the occupancy ends or is terminated, the Guest must immediately vacate the Room. The Manager is authorised to do whatever is required to force the eviction of any Guest and removal of Guests’ property.
The Manager has the right to charge any credit card for any loss, damage or monetary contribution for which any guest is liable under this document or otherwise.
Glass must never be taken into any of the pool areas. Breakages contaminating the pool or spas will incur a cleaning charge for Guests deemed responsible.
It is a standart practice across the industry that; Guests must wash and put away their own dishes. $25 surcharge will be applied if failed to do so.
A key may be issued to you on arrival, a deposit of $100.00 will be held to your account and refunded on returning of key on departure keys not returned on departure will incur a loss of your deposit.

Payment Policy

A 50% deposit is required for each Chalet to confirm the booking. (OVER-NIGHT stays MUST PAY in FULL). The amount may be paid by Direct Deposit or Credit Card. For Direct Deposit, pls use Names and Check In Date eg. "J.Smith 25Jun19" as reference and the Bank receipt emailed to info@girraweenlodge.com.au before booking can be confirmed.

50% balance is to be made at least 15 days prior to the check-in date, failure to pay the balance by that time may result in automatic cancellation of the booking and the deposit will NOT remain TRANSFERABLE, unless cancelled by the guest in writing.
If additional nights are required or guests arrive at check-in they will be charged at that time, according to our standard/agreed rates.

Cancellation Policy

COVID19 CANCELLATION UPDATE: On your arrival day If the travel restrictions are still in place and forced by law; you will be able to postpone your booking for a new date (subject to availabilty) in the next 16months (will extend further if necessary). Any payments received by us (as deposit and/or balance) will apply to your next booking. PS; (NO amendment fee applies, regardless how many times we may need to postpone the booking due to COVID19 law enforcement).

The POLICY below, will continue to apply POST COVID19 Law Enforcement:
Cancellations from 14 days prior to booking arrival date will forfeit deposit. Cancellations before 14 days prior to booking arrival date are allowable without loss of deposit, (provided the booking is cancelled in writing by the Guests). If the booking has been cancelled in writing ,the deposit remains nonrefundable and will be available for a period of up to 14 months for a future booking from the date of cancellation. The future booking will be subject to availability and conditions may apply. Rates applied will be at the rates of new reservation date.No alterations can be made less than 14 days prior to arrival date.

If a booking is made on a rate that has been incorrectly posted Girraween Environmental Lodge reserves the right to correct the rate or cancel the reservation and will contact you directly in order to do so.
If cancelled 0 - 14 days before arrival, 100% of the total amount will be forfeited.
If cancelled 14-28 days before arrival, 100% of the total amount will be forfieted.
If amended 0 - 14 days before arrival, 100% of the total amount will be forfeited.
If amended 14-28 days before arrival, 1st night amount will be forfeited and the balance will transferable for 14 months
