Glenella Guesthouse
Glenella Guesthouse provides an opportunity for discerning travellers to discover all that is beautiful in the upper Blue Mountains.
Our reviews invariably speak glowingly of the ‘feeling’ and the atmosphere of this special building and the people within.
The hosts, the staff and the facility all come together to offer an authentic Glenella style of warm hospitality. Witness how so many of our visitors vow to return and many do. Often.
Why is Glenella special? It is an inspired original Blue Mountains Guesthouse built over 100 years ago and is listed as heritage. But this means the bedrooms are modest in size and the building is quirky but comfortable. Nevertheless over time comforts have been added and additions made to your advantage. Most bedrooms are now en-suite, but some others share bathrooms. There is room for all at the inn. We offer modern features such as WiFi and hot water, but no TV’s in the bedrooms.
At Glenella we encourage guests to connect with each other to discover interesting places to see and do. Our self-catering kitchen for guests and our numerous seating and communal areas around the fireplace facilitate this.

• No pets.
• Breakages must be paid for.
• Check- In time is from 2pm - 7pm. Prior arrangements required for check-ins after 7pm.
• No check-ins after 9pm.
• Check-Out time is 10.30am, and 11am on Sundays.
• Not suitable for under 16's.
Payment Policy
- full payment is required on arrival
- payment can be made using Visa / Mastercard or cash.
Cancellation Policy
• Cancellations made with more than 7 days notice incur no charge.
• Cancellations made with less than 7 days notice will incur a cancellation fee equal to the first night’s tariff.
• No-shows or cancellations made in full or in part after checking in, will incur a 100% cancellation fee.
• We encourage our customers to purchase travel insurance to cover any unforeseen circumstances.
