Welcome to Gunyah Hotel

When you check-in, you will be asked to provide photographic identification.

A valid credit card MUST be presented on check-in to the hotel.
Payments may be made by credit card (as indicated for online bookings or as indicated as being accepted at the relevant hotel) or EFTPOS.

Full payment for accommodation is required on check in.

Check in time is at 2 pm.
Check-out time is at 10.00 am on the date shown for your departure.
Alternatively Gunyah Hotel reception opens at 10 am (Mon-Fri) and 10 am (Sat-Sun).
If the room key is not returned at time of check out. Gunyah Hotel reserved the right to charge a $60.00 fee to guest's credit card or debit card.

Persons must be at least 21 years of age to be authorised check - in to Gunyah Hotel.
Exceeding the maximum number of guests per room room configuration is not permitted due to fire regulations..
In the event that there is excessive cleaning required in the room, a minimum cleaning charge of $100 will be charged to your room account

NO SMOKING POLICY

Smoking is strictly prohibited in all rooms and public areas of the hotel including corridors, lounge and lobby area. Gunyah Hotel is a 100% non-smoking property. A charge of AUD $250.00 applies to any guests identified smoking within the accommodation premises. In the event that the fire brigade is called due to the fire system alarm activation, a fee of $1,100.00 applies.

Pets

Gunyah Hotel has a no pet policy. In NSW, a Guide Dog in a harness is legally allowed in hotels and motels.

Parking

For the convenience of our guests, we offer complimentary self parking.

Releases and Indemnity

Any monies or other valuables, goods or vehicles that belong to you, brought in or on to the room, grounds or car park remain your responsibility and we are not responsible for their safekeeping.
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to release and hold harmless Gunyah Hotel and its current and former officers, employees and agents against and from all expenses, costs, liabilities, claims, actions, proceedings, damages, judgments and losses of any kind whatsoever (including consequential and economic losses, property loss/damage and damage for injury, including personal injury and death) arising out of, caused by, attributable to or resulting from your reservation, your stay or your attendance an event at the relevant Gunyah Hotel for any reason whatsoever.
You agree to indemnify Gunyah Hotel and its current and former officers, employees and agents for all expenses, costs, liabilities, claims, actions, proceedings, damages, judgments and losses of any kind whatsoever (including consequential and economic losses, property loss/damage and damage for injury, including personal injury and death) incurred or suffered by Gunyah Hotel or its current or former officers, employees or agents arising out of, caused by, attributable to or resulting from your reservation, your stay, or your attendance at an event at the relevant Gunyah Hotel except to the except caused or contributed to by Gunyah Hotel or its current or former officer's, employee's or agent's negligence.

Damage to or Removal of Hotel Property

Guests will be responsible for any damage caused to the Hotel room or any furnishings, fittings and equipment therein by any act or omission of the Guest, his/her invitees, subcontractors or guests. Should this damage come to light after the guest has departed, Gunyah Hotel reserves the right to make a charge to the Guest's credit or debit card. Gunyah Hotel reserves the right to charge Guests the cost of replacing any items that are
removed from the Hotel by them without consent. The charge will be the full replacement amount of the missing item.

Gunyah Hotel reserves the right to take action against any guest found to have tampered /interfered with any fire detection equipment throughout the hotel, including detector heads in public areas and bedrooms, break glass points and fire extinguishers. Guests found to have tampered with any fire detection or firefighting equipment will be charged with any costs incurred by the Hotel due to their actions and additionally may be asked to leave the Hotel. Should the fact that fire fighting or detection equipment had been tampered with come to light after the guests has departed Gunyah Hotel reserves the right to make a charge to the Guest's credit or debit card.

Privacy

We will not make this information available to any third party without your prior consent except where required by law or to enforce our collection of amounts owing by you.

Payment Policy

The GUNYAH Hotel accepts EFTPOS payments on arrival, as well as Visa & MasterCard credit card payments.

All rooms must be paid for in full before or at point of check-in before room key may be issued.

Cancellation Policy

Fully Flexible Rates: Free cancellation is permitted up until 48 hours prior to the check-in date and time. Cancellations received prior to this will not incur any room charges and will be eligible for a full refund.
Booking cancellations made within 48 hours prior to the check-in date and time, will incur the full charge for the first nights stay.
Notice to shorten your stay, must be provided 48 hours prior to your intended check out date to avoid the full charge for the night(s) cancelled.

• Stay and Save Non-refundable Rates: Require full prepayment at the time of booking. Amendments, cancellations or refunds are not permitted.

• Special Event Rates: Require full prepayment at the time of booking. Amendments, cancellations or refunds are not permitted. A minimum 2-night stay or longer is required unless otherwise stated.
