HOW TO BOOK/QUOTES AND RESERVATION
• Bookings can be made over the internet at https://apac.littlehotelier.com/properties/gvaptyltdirect or by calling Reception on +61 2 9436 1881
• Reservations are subject to availability and actual pricing at the time of booking.
• Verbal quotes are valid at the moment of quote and not at a future time.

DEPOSIT
• At time of reservation a valid Visa or MasterCard must be provided to secure your booking. The credit card will be charged in full at the time of making the reservation.
• Guest will be charged a prepayment of the total price at any time.

FINAL PAYMENT
• Full payment must be received prior to check in.

RATES AND RENTAL PAYMENT
• Rates are per room per night based on single, twin share or quadruple occupancy, unless otherwise stated. All prices are inclusive of Australian Good and Service Tax (GST).
• The rates are subject to changes without notice.
• The rates may increase without notice due to changes in, but not limited to, the imposition of new government charges, taxes or levies.
• All prices and other payments and conditions should be confirmed at the time of booking.
• Guest must keep rental payments in advance at all times. If in the event you are unable to pay rental and in arrears, then it is at the sole discretion of Greenwich Village Accommodation management to immediately terminate your occupancy and you will be asked to leave in a quiet and orderly manner.
• All tenants are given a three-day maximum rental payment deficit whereby further delayed payment may lead to an immediate eviction.

CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS
• If you have booked a room through the use of a travel agency or an Online Travel Agency (such as Booking.com, Expedia and Hotels.com), you must cancel or modify your booking through the agency that you used to make the booking.
• The hostel may at any time cancel a Booking if the Hostel becomes unavailable due to circumstances outside the Hostel’s control in which case the Hostel will pay the Customer a full refund of any Charges and any booking fee paid
• The hostel may cancel the Booking if the payment details provided by the Customer are invalid or insufficient. The Hostel will make all reasonable attempts to contact the Customer for valid alternative detail.
• Guest can cancel free of charge until 14 days before arrival. Guest will be charged the total price if the booking is cancelled within the 14 days before arrival.
• No refunds for cancellations made within 14 days of check-in.
• No shows/failure to cancel prior to arrival, are subject to a fee, equal to 100% of the total amount paid for the reservation.
• Refunds for other cancellations will be at the discretion of the Management, depends on the circumstances of the booking. e.g. length of stay/peak times/weekends.

CHECK IN AND CHECK OUT
• Check-in time at the Hostel booked is from 1400 hrs. Check-in before 1400 hrs may be available, subject to availability. Guests may access communal facilities before check-in if required
• Check-out time at the Hostel booked is 1000 hrs. Later check-out times may be possible by prior arrangement with an additional charge and subject to availability. (In the absence of such prior agreement, failure to check-out by 1000 hrs may result in the Customer being charged for an additional night’s accommodation at the standard applicable rate.

PHOTO I.D. REQUIRED ON CHECK-IN
• An acceptable form of government issued photographic identification will need to be produced prior to check-in for all guests. Acceptable form of ID is a valid Australian driver’s license, passport, or Australian proof of age card (18+ card).

BOOKING ARRANGEMENTS
• The person affecting a booking shall be deemed to have accepted the booking conditions on behalf of all persons named in the booking.

BEDDING
What GVA provides: bed linen, blankets, pillows, towels and toiletries. Guest can bring their towel, sleeping sheet or linen if they prefer to use their own. Under Australian health regulations, sleeping bags are not allowed on premises.

COOKING
GVA hostel has fully equipped kitchens where guest can cook and store food during their stay. All guests can use the kitchen as long as they clean up after cooking.

AGE RESTRICTION:
• If you’re 16 or under you’ll need a parent/legal guardian aged over 21 to stay with you in a private room
• If you’re 17, you can remain unaccompanied with a letter from your parent/legal guardian stating they’re aware you are staying at the hostel and that the hostel will not supervise your activities
• All clients under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian or an individual over the age of 18, the property has the right to refuse any booking, when the legal guardian over 18 cannot provide current photo ID if requested on check-in.

PARKING
•Parking is limited and incurs a fee. All vehicles are parked at the owners’ risk. Should a problem occur with a vehicle in the hostel car park, the hostel cannot accept any liability. If a vehicle is left in the hostel car park after the guest has departed without the written consent of the hostel, the hostel reserves the right to remove the vehicle at the owners’ expense.
• All vehicles parked in the hostel’s carpark must leave their registration number and direct contact number at reception at all times. The owner accepts that members of staff may have the car to be removed or reallocate during the time the car is parked in the car park.

SMOKING
• Greenwich Village Accommodation is a strictly non-smoking premises. Any guest found smoking within the building or having smoked will be subject to a fine of AUD 200.0 and will be asked to leave the premises immediately without refund. A smoking area and ashtrays are provided outside the building for guests who wish to smoke.

ALCOHOL & ILLEGAL DRUGS
• You agree to take a responsible approach when consuming alcohol in my room, communal areas and the grounds. Failure to comply may result in eviction without refund.
• Any guests found possess, supply or use illegal drugs or substances will be asked to leave the premises immediately. A refund will not be issued.

PERSONAL PROPERTY
• Guests are responsible for their own belongings at all times.

LIABILITY
• Guests’ liability for their account is not waived and guests agree to be held personally liable in the event that any indicated person, group, company or association fails to pay all or part of any charges incurred.

DAMAGES, BEHAVIOUR AND RESPONSIBILITY
• The comfort, safety and security of our guests is of paramount importance to Greenwich Village Accommodation. Any guest(s) who, in the opinion of our staff, compromise the comfort, safety or security of other guests, staff or local residents will be requested to leave the hostel premises and will not be offered a refund. Guests are expected to respect other guests, staff, local residents and property. In the case of groups, the group leaders must ensure that all members of their group behave in an acceptable manor. Failure of any individual group member to do so will result in the expulsion of the whole group.

• Greenwich Village Accommodation reserve the right to charge guests the cost of rectifying damage, caused by the deliberate, negligent or reckless act of the guest to the hostel’s property or structure. All members of a group are held responsible for any actions taken by any member of the group. Should any damage come to light after the guest has departed, we reserve the right to make a charge to the guest’s credit / debit card

• We reserve the right to take action against any guest found to have tampered / interfered with any fire detection equipment throughout the hostel, including detector heads in public areas and bedrooms, break glass points and fire extinguishers. Guests found to have tampered with any fire detection or firefighting equipment or found to have been negligent will be charged for any Fire Department costs incurred by the hostel due to their actions and additionally may be asked to leave the hotel.

• Greenwich Village Accommodation will not be liable for any accident, injury (including death), delay, property damage or personal loss to you or those travelling with you in connection with any accommodation, transportation, or other travel services resulting directly or indirectly from any occurrences or conditions beyond its control, including but not limited to acts of terrorism, act of God, defects in vehicles, war, strikes, theft, delay, cancellation, civil disorder, disaster, government regulations or changes in itinerary or schedule.

• In the event of triggering the Fire Alarm, you will be liable to pay the $1750.0 attendance fee charged by the Fire Department, along with any other costs that may be incurred; this also applies if you are found to tamper with the smoke alarms in any way.

• Every effort is made to ensure that information displayed on property’s website or any Online Travel Agency (OTA) is correct. Information and rates on the Tariff and OTAs are subject to change without notice.

INNKEEPERS ACT (ACT NO. 24, 1968, SECTION 7):
Loss of or damage to guest’s property
Under the innkeeper’s act 1968, an innkeeper may in certain circumstances be liable to make functional any loss or damage to a guest property even though it was not due to any fault of the innkeeper or any servant in his employ.
This liability, however:
• Extends only to the property of guests who have engaged sleeping accommodation at the inn.
• Is limited to $100.0 to anyone guest except in the case of property which has been deposited, or offered for a deposit, for safe custody.
• Does not cover any motor vehicle o other vehicles of any kind or any property left in them, or horses or other live animals.

LEGAL STATEMENT:
The Greenwich Hostel has a strict policy for handling customer information. The information you provide to us is confidential and protected to the fullest extent possible. We will not disclose or distribute customer information to third parties without prior written consent by the customer.
However, by signing the Occupancy Agreement form, you agree to allow us to pass to persons we deem appropriate your details should you or any of your visitors;
• Fail to settle your account
• Smoke in the rooms
• Room degradation (such as vomit, bodily waste, muds and stains)
• General damage to hostel property, fitting and fixtures
• All non-standard cleaning charges
• And or any problems sufficient to result in a room being withdrawn from its availability to be let.

EXTRA FEES AND CHARGES:
Entry to the hostel rooms is conditional upon a signed guest registration form. Due to fire regulations, management must be aware of the number of guests in all rooms.
If in the course of a guest stay, and contributes to any guests or visitors of that room, any unforeseen expenses become apparent the signing guest credit card will be charged an amount appropriate to the costs at a rate determined by the management of the hostel.
Fees chargeable to guests include, but are not limited to:
Smoking in rooms, room degradation (such as vomit, bodily waste, general damage or any problem sufficient to result in a room being withdrawn from its availability to be let) may incur a $250.0 cleaning fee. In addition to this, professional floor/carpet cleaning may be imposed as well as a daily room tariff equal to the daily tariff that would be charged if the room was available to be let or any other rate that may be agreed to by management in accordance with business demand on the day, until the said room has been returned to its saleable condition.

By signing the agreement, I indicate I understand that I will:
• I agree that my access to and use of the hostel is subject to the hostel’s Terms and Conditions.
• I understand that should I break any of the above commitments, management has the right to terminate my occupancy with a requirement to vacate the premises immediately if the seriousness of the offence/s warrants same; or within a time stipulated by management. I also understand that, in the event of my occupancy being terminated for any of the above reasons, my credit card will be charged for damages that occurred.
• Further, management reserves the right in its absolute discretion, to terminate any occupant’s lodging should it be deemed that termination is required for any reason whatsoever.
• The Occupants have exclusive use and occupation of the Rooms SUBJECT TO GVA reserving the right for its staff, contractors, emergency services and the police to access the Rooms for cleaning, maintenance or other reasons, to assist in the general management of the Residence or an emergency. Reasonable efforts will be made to give prior notice to the Client where practicable.

* “Hostel” means the hostel owned or operated by The Greenwich Pty Ltd or Greenwich Village Accommodation Pty Ltd located at 33 Greenwich Road, Greenwich NSW 2065.

Cancellation Policy

CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS

• The hostel may at any time cancel a Booking if the Hostel becomes unavailable due to circumstances outside the Hostel’s control in which case the Hostel will pay the Customer a full refund of any Charges and any booking fee paid
• The hostel may cancel the Booking if the payment details provided by the Customer are invalid or insufficient. The Hostel will make all reasonable attempts to contact the Customer for alternative valid details
• Room not occupied by 2300 hours will be seen as No Show unless prior arrangement has been made.
• If the booking is cancelled within 24 hours from the initial booking time, no cancellation fee is applied.
• Guest can cancel free of charge until 30 days before arrival. Guest will be charged the total price if the booking is cancel within the 30 days before arrival.
• Guest will be charged a prepayment of the total price at any time.
• No refunds for cancellations made within 30 days of check-in.
• In the event of No-show, Total cost of the stay will be billed to your credit card.
• Refunds for other cancellations will be at the discretion of the Management, depends on the circumstances of the booking. e.g. length of stay/peak times/weekends.
