La petite chambre Matisse, housed in the magnificent 1830’s mansion Hatherley House is furnished in the french empire style of the 18th and 19th century and features a rare colour lithograph, “Poemes de Charles d’Orleans” by renowned french impressionist Henri Matisse. A poem discovered on the verso in Matisse’s handwriting, transcribes in 15th Century french Charles d’Orleans poem, has been recreated into a large scale contemporary graphic.

Antique elements are juxtaposed with a lavish and generous modern translucent glass and stainless steel bathroom. Equipped with a kitchenette and local breakfast provisions. From your tall heritage windows enjoy the view of a century old magnolia set in Hatherley’s irresistible gardens.

For the comfort and safety of all our guests, all of our properties are non smoking and we have a no party policy.

Full payment is processed at the time of booking.

Conditions d'annulation

Cancellations made within 2 days of booking arrival date incur a 100% cancellation fee. Cancellations made with more than 2 days notice incur an administration charge of 15% of total booking fee.

We encourage our customers to purchase travel insurance to cover any unforeseen circumstances. Due to the unique characteristics of century old buildings, please be aware that the access to some suites is via stairs.
