Terms & Conditions
SECURITY BOND
A deposit of $200.00 may be taken upon check in and refunded at the end of stay, pending assessment of the departed room. This may be payable by credit card, cash or EFTPOS. You will also be required to provide photo ID. This ID and credit card must be in the name of the reservation holder. If the card holders name is different to the guest name, you will be contacted to provide a written credit card authorisation.
CHECK IN
Check in no earlier than 3.00pm unless an early check in has been arranged.
Occupancy of the apartment is granted under the acceptance of the above-mentioned Terms & Conditions.
CHECK OUT
Check out time is 11:00am. If you require a late check-out, request a suitable check out time, and we will accommodate whenever possible.
Checking out later than 12.00pm may result in an additional charge of half the nightly tariff.
KEYS /SWIPES – Upon checkout guests must either return the keys to Reception or deposit them in our express key drop box behind the Concierge Desk. A replacement fee of $150.00 per item shall be charged to the guest account in the event any keys and swipes are not returned.
DURING YOUR STAY
Extra visitors are not permitted to stay in the rooms. A suite, one bedroom or loft apartment allows two people (2) and a two bedroom apartment allows four people (4) in the existing bedding. Rooms with sofa beds can accommodate an extra person at an additional charge of $20.00 per person per night. Any additional guests visiting the apartment will be required to register with Reception.
Please note some of our apartments have stairs. Should you require an apartment without stairs please confirm this with Reception prior to confirming your booking.
Note: Children three years and younger are not included in the maximum occupancy
Smoking – As we are trying to promote a pleasant environment for all guests, we require you to refrain from smoking in the apartments and common areas within the property. Smoking within these areas will result in additional cleaning charges of $400.00 per day. No warning is given before being asked to leave the property.
Dundrennan Historic Homestead holds a strict NO PARTY POLICY, there is to be no “excessive noise” after 9:00pm, whereby other guests in the building are being disturbed. Should Management have to request the noise level to be reduced the guests may be asked to leave without a refund. Failure to leave on request will incur an additional nights cost as well as bond being withheld. Management reserves the right to terminate accommodation at any time without refund of accommodation or bond.
NO PET POLICY
No pets are permitted on the premises including apartments.
SPECIAL EVENT DATES AND CONDITIONS: –
24 to 31 December – Boxing Day through to New Year’s Eve
08-21 February 2021 – Australian Open
During special events the minimum notice of cancellation is 14 days prior to arrival.
Bookings cancelled without providing the minimum notice required or early departures will incur a full 100% cancellation charge of the cancelled nights. Full pre-payment will be be taken 14 days prior to arrival.
Payment Policy
Guests are required to show a photo identification and the credit card used for booking upon check-in or the hotel reserves the right to cancel the booking
Dundrennan Historic Homestead bookings may carry a minimum stay especially during peak times, this is specified at the time of your booking. Full accommodation charges are payable upon arrival by credit card unless a pre-paid rate type was booked. During special events, full payment will be taken 14 days prior to arrival. All prices are quoted in Australian dollars (unless otherwise specified) per room per night. Prices are subject to availability and can change without notification due to fluctuations in charges and currency. Each rate or hotel package available is subject to individual terms and conditions.
All credit card transactions will incur a surcharge. Visa and Mastercard will incur a 1.75% surcharge and American Express 2%
Cancellation Policy
Cancel by 3pm on day of arrival to avoid 1 night room penalty (direct bookings only) except during special events when a minimum of 14 days prior to arrival is required, i.e. NYE (24-31 Dec) and Australian Open (8-21 February 2021).
You agree that any charges for services to you, not billed at the time of your departure, may be added to your account for settlement as arranged or may be charged to the same credit card used to pay the account at the time of departure or to the credit card used to guarantee payment of your account.
CANCELLATION OR AMENDMENTS
FREE CANCELLATION RATE TYPES –
Allowing cancellation or amendment flexibility within a specified time frame. If a cancellation or amendment is made outside the specified period a penalty equal to the 1st night’s accommodation charge will apply or if specified as a special event period as outlined below then the the full accommodation amount will be charged.
NO SHOW POLICY:
Failure to check-in on the reservation date of arrival without provision of a a proper cancellation will be charged as a late cancellation and a penalty equivalent to the first night room rate and taxes, per room will be payable.
