RATES
All rates quoted on this site are subject to availability. By using the rates quoted on this site you agree with and abide by these Terms and Conditions. Rates may increase without notice due to any changes in or the imposition of government charges taxes or levies. Guests will be notified where possible of any increases.

CHECK IN/CHECK OUT
Check in time is 4:00pm and check out is 10:00am.
We will try wherever possible to accommodate early arrival and/or late departure. Bag drop off is available by request.

CHILDREN POLICY
You are more than welcome to bring children and infants but please be aware the property has no baby safety measures in place or equipment, ie.no stair gate, cot or high chair etc. so you will have to bring your own if required.

CAR PARKING
Limited off-street parking for guests is available free of charge.

BEHAVIOUR AND NOISE POLICY
Please respect our neighbours and other guests and keep noise to a minimum. Unreasonable noise will not be tolerated after 11pm.
We reserve the right to request guests or non-guests who are making excessive noise, are abusive, aggressive or disorderly to leave immediately. This behaviour will not be tolerated under any situation . No refunds will be applicable. A security company or police may be called to investigate complaints of excessive noise or anti-social behaviour. Any charges incurred by the security company or police will be charged to the guests credit card provided as security for their booking.

ADDITIONAL CHARGES
Management also reserves the right to charge guests for the following, but not restricted to, all damages and breakages, lost keys, missing items, late departure, extra cleaning and unpaid expenses. Any additional charges will automatically be charged to the credit card provided as security for the booking following at least one attempt to contact the credit card holder.

EXTRA GUEST / ROOM CONFIGURATION
The base price includes 8 guests. There is a additional fee for any guests booked over 8 pax per person per night. We will make up rooms as per number of guests. Spare linen will be left if you wish to use other rooms if you have not booked for maximum number of guests.

SMOKING
All rooms are non-smoking, ashtrays are provided for use outside of the building only. All shared spaces are non-smoking, smoking is only permitted outside. Any traces of residual smoke inside will incur an additional cleaning charge of $200. Any additional costs of cleaning soft furnishings may be added as deemed necessary by management.

PETS
Pets are not permitted in the rooms or grounds of the property.

EARLY DEPARTURE
No refunds will be given on early departure and any outstanding balance will be deducted from the guests credit card provided.

TRADING TERMS
Hooting Owl Lodge reserves the right to release any or all room space if payment terms are not met.

FORCE MAJEURE
Hooting Owl Lodge will not be in breach of this agreement, or any way liable to any party, if it is prevented from complying with this agreement by reason of act of God, act of public enemy, act of terrorism, war, earthquake, riot, explosion, compliance with any law or government restraint order, rule regulations, strike, lockout or any other cause not reasonably within the control of Hooting Owl Lodge

PRIVACY POLICY
We may use your personal information for some or all of the following purposes:
o To provide marketing information to you about our products and services
o To monitor the standard and quality of service we provide to your or other guests.
If you do not wish to receive these communications from us, you may unsubscribe.
If you choose to send email messages to us that contain confidential, private or personal information, you do so entirely at your own risk.

Norme di cancellazione

Cancellation within 7 days of initial confirmation will not incur a cancellation charge, however any transaction fees incurred in the refund process will be deducted from the deposit prior to the refund being issued.

If Covid border restrictions are suddenly put in place in your country of departure or in Japan a full refund will be issued.

Cancellation less than 60 days prior to arrival date will incur a 100% tariff charge. (that is, there will be no refund).
