The Horizons Motel
The Horizons Motel is a boutique style motel. Free Wi-Fi is generally available in most Rooms & Suites. Tea & coffee making facilities, Microwave oven, Electric kettle, Toaster, Fridge & Reverse cycle Air-conditioning are available in all Rooms & Suites. Enjoy our in-ground swimming pool all year around, or it's just a few minutes walk to our pristine Mermaid Beach and the patrolled swimming areas Nobby's Beach. The Nobby's Beach Surf Club, our local Cafes, Coffee Shops & Restaurants are also within a short walk of the Motel. Bus stops for North & South bound services are a few minute walk from the Motel. There is a regular bus service to and from the Gold Coast Airport, that runs along the Gold Coast Highway. If you are using you own motor vehicle it's a short drive to the many attractions at Broadbeach, including the Pacific Fair Shopping Center, Convention Centre & the Star Casino. There is also easy access via public transport to the numerous and iconic Gold Coast Theme Parks.

Terms & Conditions
The Horizons Motel, Mermaid Beach requires the first night accommodation to be paid to confirm a reservation.
A Visa & MasterCard Surcharge applies for all reservations processed through our on-line booking system.
On-line booking payments can be taken anytime after reservation if booked on-line. or on the day of check-in. Reception will only be opened by prior arrangement, and fora specific guest requirement. The standard check-in time is from 2:00pm daily. Keys are secured for guests collection with detailed information being provided at the time of reservation.
For Late or Early check-in requests, please Email: horizonsmotel@gmail.com or telephone the Reception on (07) 5572 7611. All guests must provide an estimated time of arrival to ensure key collection arrangements are made promptly.
A copy of our Information folder with our "House Rules & Check-in Information" is in every Room/Suite. All guests are to read, agree to and comply with our house rules before commencing their tenure at the Horizons Motel. Failure to comply with 'House Rules' may result in extra charges being applied, and/or termination of the guests stay. Any breach of our strict "Smoking/Vaping Prohibition", or Quiet Time (Noise) rules may result in immediate termination of the guests stay.
Payment Policy
Cash, Visa, or MasterCard Credit/Debit cards are accepted for reservations. The first night’s room rate (non-refundable) must be paid when a reservation is made. We required Photographic Identification (ID) such as a Passport, Drivers Licence
or Adult Proof of Age Card to be shown at check-in. Our Guests Room Account will be debited the Room Rate at the time
of Reservation or may be taken on the day of arrival if it is for multiple nights reservations. If a Third Party is paying the Deposit,
(In person or by telephone) we may require an email authority, including current Photo ID and Address, and an active Credit/Debit card from the booker, prior to Horizons Motel accepting the reservation. Cash payments may still require Photo ID before acceptance.
Cancellation Policy
Same day 'Reservation Cancellations' will result in forfeiture of the first nights room rate. To avoid loss of any deposit, forty eight (48) hours Notice is required for all cancellation requests.
For Reservations exceeding 3 nights, we require 48 hours notice by email or telephone of the cancellation request.
All multiple-night reservations are secured by way of a deposit for the months of December & January. These reservations cannot be changed after the 1st November preceding the December of the current year. If a guest requests a reduction to the number of nights stay in multiple night stay during December & January, NO REFUND will be given. If an extension to a confirmed booking is requested, the Motel will offer the current room rate before approving the extension of the guest stay. If there is any dispute arising from these bookings, Management reserves the right to cancel the entire booking without compensation being paid to the guest(s).
