Terms & Conditions
REGISTRATION AND IDENTIFICATION
Upon Arrival, all guests are required to sign a registration form, and accept the terms and conditions for the stay.
Adequate identification (valid Driver’s licence, passport or other forms of photo ID) is required at time of check-in to verify your identity. The manager reserves the right to refuse entry if ID is inadequate.
CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT
Check In from 2:00pm, Check Out prior to 10:00am
Check-In at 2pm is guaranteed for the best available room in the category booked. Early arrivals may be requested however are not guaranteed. The hotel has limited luggage storage facilities available. Should you require an early Check In please contact the hotel directly (fees may apply).
Late Check Outs may be available but are not guaranteed (fees may apply).
CREDIT CARD PRE-AUTHORISATION
Upon your arrival, a valid credit card is required in all reservation for security purposes. A $200.00 pre-authorisation from your credit card will be charged as a security bond.
Pre-authorised funds are held by your financial institution and may be utilised by the hotel to settle any outstanding charges from your stay. Depending on your financial institution, these funds may take up to 10 business days to clear after your departure from the hotel.
The card will be used to cover incidental items such as:
* Any excessive breakages or damage incurred during your stay.
* Any excessive cleaning charges, as a result of the apartment being left in an unacceptable state.
Please note: Cash payment of security bond are not accepted and failure to provide pre-authorisation may result in your booking being forfeited.
PAYMENT
We accept Visa and MasterCard. All amounts are charged in $AUD. The cardholder must be present upon check in for room payment or pre-authorisations to be processed on the cardholder’s card.
SUITE DAMAGE
The guest who books and registers at Check-In, will be held accountable for any damages to the suite and contents during the stay dates. The registered guest will be liable for any/all damages caused (including those by third parties visiting the suite), resulting in forfeiture of any deposit bond, pre-payment and also may be subject to additional fees & charges. The hotel reserves the right to process any charges in addition to accommodation and incidentals to the credit card supplied upon arrival.
HOUSEKEEPING
We supply linens, pillows, blankets and towels, all of which must be left where supplied in the bedrooms or bathroom on departure. Cleaning and linen change occurs every three days or upon request, for long stays (at additional costs) and at the termination of every guest stay.
KEYS/ REMOTE CONTROLS
All guests are responsible for the safekeeping of accommodation keys/ swipes/ fobs/ remotes. All keys/ swipes/ fobs/ remotes are to be returned to the Reception upon check out. Guest will be charged a minimum of $350 to replace all missing keys/ swipes/ fobs/ remotes and locks (if applicable). Please note that fee is based on information available at the time of publishing and may vary or change at any time, without notice.
If you lock your keys inside the apartment, outside of business hours (9:00am to 5:00pm), our guest relations officer may be able to assist you to call a locksmith, however, the guest will be financially liable for any after-hours locksmith service call.
CAR PARKING
Onsite undercover secure parking is available at $30.00 per night. Parking is recommended to book in advance.
NO PARTY POLICY
IFSuites Melbourne Village has a strict NO party policy. Any behaviours deemed to be disturbing the peace will result in eviction from the property. The pre-authorised bond is required and will be used to cover incidental items including (but not limited to) breakages/ damages, lost or stolen property, excessive cleaning charges (beyond the standard level of cleaning due to the apartment being left in an unacceptable state) etc.
KITCHEN FACILITIES
All units are equipped with a full kitchen for your convenience. Please clean the oven after every single use and place the dishes into the dishwasher before you check out. Excessive cleaning charges will be applied if oven and dishes are left dirty upon your departure.
SMOKING POLICY
Smoking in the apartment is NOT permitted. Failure to adhere to this instruction will result in an additional $200 cleaning & deodorising fee being charged on your nominated credit card.
LIMIT OF LIABILITY
We do our best to ensure your reservation arrangements are satisfactory however IFSuites does not accept any liabilities for any injuries , damages, loss, delays, additional expenses or inconvenience caused directly or indirectly by any events which are beyond our control including, but not limited to, war, civil disturbance, terrorism, fire, floods, acts of God, acts of Government or of any other authorities, accident to or failure of machinery or equipment, maintenance requirements or industrial action.
SECURITY AND LOSS PREVENTION
IFSuites Melbourne Village is secured premises and we do everything possible to ensure security levels are maintained, we ask that our guests do also. IFSuites takes no responsibility for any personal possessions that are lost, stolen or misplaced whilst on the premises, nor items left in the premises upon departure.
FIRE ALARM
All units are equipped with smoke detectors connected to the building’s main fire panel. Smoking in a unit, on a balcony with the doors open or around the common area, passenger detectors, will set the fire alarm off. Please be aware you will be charged by the Fire Department if it is found that you are the cause of a false alarm.
EMERGENCY EVACUATION
The emergency evacuation procedures are located on the rear of your apartment entry door. Please familiarise yourself with the assembly points and fire exits from your apartment.

We do not take any responsibility and we are not liable for any damage caused through use of products or services purchased through any third party suppliers
