Barrass's John Bright Motor Inn

John Bright Motor Inn includes, 6 units for couples which were fully refurbished to a premium level in 2014. 14 other units including standard and spa units for a couple plus two room units which, depending on the configuration, can sleep from 4-6 guests. 16 units are ground floor, the Executive and Spa units are on the 1st floor. The motel is located in a superb tree-lined street of Bright and within a 100 metre stroll to the cafe, restaurant and shopping precinct of this beautiful tourist town. The rear of the hotel looks over a beautifully kept town croquet court.

The motel contains off-street parking, a swimming pool, washing and drying facilities and free wireless internet. An in-room continental breakfast is available for $10p/p.

Set in Australia’s Alpine High Country, Bright has many spectacular sights and activities on offer. Do a lot or do nothing at all – the choice is yours. For the adventurous there is abseiling, caving, rock climbing, canoeing, fly fishing, micro-lighting, para gliding, walking and cycling. For those requiring a more subdued experience, we are central to the gourmet food and wine region of the Alpine Valleys as well as an easy drive to the Ovens Valley, King Valley, Rutherglen and Beechworth wine regions.

Refurbished units have a microwave for heating food while other units can use the microwave in the communal laundry. Cooking is not allowed in any of our rooms.

All rooms are non-smoking.

NOTICE
Loss of or Damage to Guest’s Property
Under the Innkeepers Act 1968, an Innkeeper may in certain circumstances be liable to make good any loss of or damage to a guests property even though it is not due to any fault if the innkeeper or any servant of his employ.
This liability however:
(a) Extends only to the property of guests who have engaged sleeping accommodation at the inn;
(b) Is limited to one hundred dollars to any one guest except in the case of property which has been deposited or offered for safe custody;
(c) Does not cover any motor vehicles of any kind or any property left in them, or horses or other live animals.
This notice does not constitute an admission either that the Act applies to these premises or that the liability thereunder attaches in any particular case.
I accept responsibility for all charges during my stay and for any damage caused by me, or those registered with me or my guests during my stay. I note our information above may be used by John Bright Motor Inn to contact us in order to bring to our attention available offers.
Door keys returned bent or broken will incur a $20 replacement fee.

Cancellation Policy

Should a cancellation occur more than 2 days prior to arrival, a full refund will be applied to the provided credit card.

If cancellation occurs within 2 days of arrival, full payment is required for all booked accommodation and will be charged to the provided credit card and receipt of payment emailed.

We reserve the right to charge the credit card as compensation for loss of revenue.
