"Ocean View of Rugged Bass Coast – Surf & Fishing Haven" - The Kilcunda Ocean View Motel is situated along the Bass Coast on the state of Victoria AUSTRALIA. It is approximately 110km (or 80 mins drive) from Melbourne CBD and 28km (10 mins drive) from Philip Island. The Motel faces the Bass Ocean and in close vicinity to some of the most spectacular natural beauty of the Coast. The town of Kilcunda, where the Motel is located, is central to some of the best surf breaks and ocean fishing in Victoria.
There are 13 rooms altogether: 6 rooms at the front facing the ocean (note: these rooms are older) and 7 rooms at the courtyard (newer rooms).

Terms & Conditions

PAYMENT POLICY

A VALID Credit Card is required to secure all bookings. Any cancellation fee will be charged to the credit card (please refer to our Cancellation Policy below).

Full payment is charged within 7 days prior to arrival day (except for Motorbike Grand Prix event dates booking as explained below). Each bookings require prepayment of first night stay upon booking and remaining to be paid in full 7 days prior to arrival, or/and full payment upon booking is required in high demand periods and group bookings.

Re advance booking for Motorbike Grand Prix event dates, prepayment of first night stay upon booking is required to confirm booking and balance of full payment (non-refundable) before 1st September.

In the event of a no-show, or if a booking is cancelled within our 7 days cancellation policy - full payments will be charged to the provided credit card.

Please Note - A VALID Credit Card is required to secure all bookings. If the provided credit card is deemed invalid at the time of booking - the booking will not be confirmed until this is received. Every endeavor will be made to contact the guest in the event of an invalid credit card, if we are unsuccessful, the booking will be cancelled without further notification.
We accept - CASH, EFTPOS, VISA/MASTERCARD/AMEX (1.8% surcharge). Minimum 2 nights booking applies during Grand Prix Season, Easter, long weekends (incl AFL Grand Final and Melbourne Cup) and other Peak Seasons.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Should a cancellation occur more than 7 days prior to arrival date, 1st night stay rate PER BOOKING, will be applied to the provided credit card. (Excluding the Credit Card Surcharge). If your booking is for more than 1 room (considered group bookings) and if cancel 7 days prior, full payment will be charged as cancellation fee.

If cancellation occurs on or within 7 days of arrival, full payment is required for all booked accommodation and will be charged to the provided credit card and receipt of payment emailed.

Grace period for waiver of cancellation fee is 24 hours after reservation is made.

We reserve all rights to charge the credit card as compensation for loss of revenue.

GUEST INFORMATION

Check In 2.00 pm to 6.30 pm (except for Sun 2 to 5pm). Early check-in can be requested and subject to availability. Late check-in (post 6.30 pm) can be arranged. Please contact us prior to make arrangement.
Check Out 10.00 am (Extended Check Out can be requested and subject to availability)

Daily Rates are per room per night (2 persons), unless indicated otherwise (e.g. for family rooms).
Additional person per room (Adult/Child) - AUD50/AUD30 per night respectively.

The number of guests staying per room must not exceed the number agreed to in the booking confirmation. In the event that any additional persons stay in the room, an additional fee may be charged according to our rates and/or we reserve the right to terminate the booking without refund.

WE ARE A SMOKE FREE ESTABLISHMENT. Smoking in our rooms and surrounds will not be tolerated. A penalty cleaning fee of $400 will be charged to the provided credit card if there is evidence that smoking has occurred.

Minimum 3 nights booking applies during Motorbike Grand Prix Season and minimum 2 nights for Easter, Long Weekends, Christmas Period and other Peak Seasons.

All packages are not available over High and Peak Seasons - Including Easter, Long Weekends, Christmas and School Holiday Periods.

Off street parking is available on site @ no charge. One car space is allocated per room. If an extra space is required, please contact reception so alternative arrangements can be made.

ROOM KEY - In the event that the Room Key be misplaced upon check out and not returned to the property within 7 days - a $30 surcharge will be deducted from the provided credit card.

Gift Vouchers are available with a 12 months validation.

No Pets are allowed inside the accommodation.

HOUSE RULES
We enforce a strict Zero Tolerance Policy on any unruly, loud, illegal or offensive behaviour. Unauthorized parties, group gatherings & functions which have not been pre-approved by management (at the time of booking) are strictly prohibited. Should complaints be received, management reserves the right to remove guests & terminate the duration of their stay with NO REFUND given, or responsibility for finding alternative accommodation.
Extra charges will be incurred if the room is not left in a reasonable condition.

HOUSEKEEPING POLICY
For stay above 3 nights, we service the room every 2 or 3 days interval. Guest is required to vacate the room for 30 minutes in order for housekeepers to service the room. For stay 3 nights and below, please be informed that room will not be serviced daily. Instead, if guest needs anything (e.g. fresh towels etc), please contact Reception Office and we shall be pleased to assist.

Payment Policy
