Welcome to Lake Macquarie Motor Inn. The Lake Macquarie region has so much to offer every traveller - fabulous beaches, the Hunter Valley and the cosmopolitan business centre of Newcastle. Whatever brings you here, come and stay at the heart of it all, where your comfort is our pleasure.

Even though we're conveniently located on the Pacific Highway, we're set well back, away from any traffic noise. Our rooms are all large and located on the ground level with convenient easy free parking just outside your room. Our rooms are quiet and all come have their own personal bathroom/ensuite. All rooms are air-conditioned and have a toaster, microwave, and kettle to ensure you have a comfortable stay.

We're located just 12 minutes from the major shopping areas of Charlestown and Westfield Kotara. Newcastle CBD is just 20 minutes to the North along the Pacific Highway. The Pacific Ocean is just east of us with many beaches to choose from including Blacksmiths and Caves Beach. Just to the west of us is the calm waters of Lake Macquarie, home to the Belmont 16 foot Sailing Club and an ideal spot to kayak, stand-up paddle board or any other water activity. Fabulous fishing, beach, lake and ocean with our boat parking and bait and tackle store 50 metres away. There are many bistro and restaurants close with a choice of clubs: Sports Club, RSL Clubs and Bowling Club, Yacht Club, 16 footers Sailing Club

We are pet friendly and a surcharge of $20 applies to all bookings.

We are also conveniently located close to many attractions including:
• Belmont Golf Club (18 hole golf course / undercover lawn bowls / barefoot bowls)
• Belmont Airport (Parachuting/Helicopter rides/Light Plane rides.
• Fernleigh Bike Track (Mountain bike riding)

Lake Macquarie Motor Inn wish all guests to enjoy a comfortable and quiet nights stay. Partying is not permitted within the rooms, courtyard or pool areas. Noisy groups that may disturb other guests are also not permitted. Visitors by prior arrangement with management, no visitors after 6pm.
Smoking is not allowed in the rooms or the immediate vicinity of the rooms. A dedicated undercover Smoking Area is provided.
We are pet friendly subject to Management Approval and a surcharge of $20 per booking applies to each Pet Friendly Booking.

Payment Policy

Valid Credit card details are required at time of booking to guarantee the booking. The credit card will be charged for a Booking Deposit of one night. Invalid or incomplete Credit Cards details or Cards with Insufficient Funds 48 hrs prior to check-in may result in your booking being cancelled.

We accept Visa, Mastercard, and Amex (Please note that all cards will incur a surcharge of 1.6%).

Cancellations received 48 hrs prior to checkin date are NO CHARGE. Cancellations made less than 48 hrs before Check In will incur a fee up to 100% of the value of the booking.

Cancellation Policy

48 hours notice prior to check in date is required for FREE Cancellation.

During peak periods such as Christmas/New Year Period from 21 December to 7 January, Long Weekends, Easter, school holidays a One night Deposit is required for bookings and this will be non-refundable . Valid Credit Card details are required. If unable to process the deposit at time of booking then the booking will be cancelled.

The cancellation policy for group bookings will vary from the above and will require at the time of booking, a deposit for each room and is non-refundable.
