Thank you for choosing La Perouse Lorne for your holiday on the Great Ocean Road in Victoria

Please note we are unable to do early check-ins.
We are a small business and need time after guests have checked out to service rooms and have everything perfect for your arrival.

Rates/Tariffs
All tariffs are quoted in Australian Dollars and inclusive of GST. Tariffs are per night per room and include a set breakfast served in the La Perouse cafe or on the terrace (weather permitting)

Payments
A 10% non-refundable deposit is required to secure a booking.
The balance will be charged 30 days prior to your reservation date.
If your reservation is within 30 days of arrival the full 100% payment will be processed on the card provided.
Your credit card details will be held as security from the date of booking until your departure.
The following credit cards are accepted:
Visa, Mastercard, Amex (surcharge applies)
We strongly advise guests to take out travel insurance to protect you against unexpected changes to your travel plans.

Cancellations
In the event of cancellation more than 30 days prior to arrival, the 10% non-refundable deposit is retained.
Any credit card surcharges are also retained.
In the event of cancellation 14 to 30 days prior to arrival, the balance can be used in credit for future stays within 12 months.
No refund applies.
In the event of cancellation within 14 days of arrival, 100% of payment is retained as a cancellation fee.
In the event that services are impossible to fulfill due to natural disaster, state of emergency, pandemic, or similar – deposits paid will act as a credit towards future stays. No refunds will be issued.

Minimum Night Bookings
A minimum 2-night stay usually applies to weekends. Minimum nights may also apply to the Christmas/New Year period and other public holiday long weekends. If the stay dates that you enter below do not meet the minimum night requirement a no availability message will be displayed.

No pets are allowed in the grounds or inside the accommodation

Delivery Policy - Online Bookings
Upon making a booking via our direct booking system you will receive a confirmation tax invoice by email. You can also print the receipt.

Smoke free policy
Strictly NO SMOKING in or on the property - penalties will apply.  Guests are required to be considerate of other guests staying at La Perouse.

Room Keys
A $50 fees applies for lost or damaged keys

Lost property is held for a period of 1 month. It is the responsibility of the guest to contact La Perouse management to claim lost property. On request, lost property will be returned cash on delivery via Australia Post including a service charge from $10.

Breakages / damage and losses to the property, including any non-standard cleaning requirements (e.g. carpet / furniture steam cleaning) are to be reported to us immediately. We will always look to be reasonable but we reserve the right to charge your credit card after your stay up to $1,000 under these circumstances.

Disclaimer
The owners of La Perouse are not liable for loss to you of any personal belongings while you are in the property. You are strongly advised to arrange comprehensive travel insurance to include cancellation insurance and personal belongings since these items are not covered by the owners' insurance. The owners shall not be liable to the client: for any temporary defect or stoppage in the supply of public services to the property for reasons beyond our control. for any loss, damage or injury which is the result of adverse weather conditions, riot, strikes, or other matters beyond our control.

Limitation of Liability
The liability of the owners shall be limited to the amount of any rentals and deposits paid. In no event shall the owners be liable for consequential damages.
