Property Information
Lavendale Country Retreat
We welcome everyone, of all ages, who are seeking a bit of peace and quiet away from the hustle and bustle of city life. A place for romantics, we have lovely little cottages, with fireplaces for cold winter nights and air conditioning for the hot summer. For families with children, we have larger cottages, plenty of small farm animals and a playground. For larger family gatherings two of our units can be booked together creating 5-bedroom complex, with large community rooms.

Terms & Conditions
We require a minimum deposit of1 night’s tariff to secure your booking. For group bookings of more than 2 cottages other arrangements for a deposit can be made. The Balance is due 14 days before arrival. If you choose to pay the deposit direct to our bank account the balance must be paid 14 days before your arrival to confirm the booking.
Cancellation less than 7 days before check-in time of your booking will forfeit the deposit. We will not hold your deposit for a further booking and we will not refund it.
Cancellation between 7 and 14 days forfeits the deposit. However, we are happy to hold your deposit for any future booking.
Cancellation greater than 14 days will enable a full refund of the deposit.
If the guest does not show up, the full amount of the reservation will be taken.
For bookings on long weekends and school holidays, and for groups of more than 2 cottages, the length for cancellation notice is doubled. 7 days becomes 14 days, 14 days becomes 28 days.
We do not charge by the person. There is a maximum number of people, including children and infants, that we can accept in each cottage. Our rates are set according to that number. If guests exceed the maximum number of people without prior arrangements with Lavendale Country Retreat, there will be a penalty of $50 .00 per person above this limit, per night.
Payment Policy
Deposit must be paid 2 weeks before arrival and payment in full must be made 1 week before arrival.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation less than 7 days before check-in time of your booking will forfeit the deposit. We will not hold your deposit for a further booking and we will not refund it.
Cancellation between 7 and 14 days forfeits the deposit. However, we are happy to hold your deposit for any future booking.
