With two architect-designed accommodation pavilions available, The Lily Pad offers privacy, space and flexibility. Couples will enjoy the serenity of the fully self-contained Studio pavilion. Families can be accommodated by the addition of the Retreat pavilion, with sleeping and living space for two extra guests which makes it an ideal space for teenagers. Only one set of guests stays at The Lily Pad at any one time, so your privacy is assured.

Studio & Retreat Pavilions - Weekly Book

The weekly rate is based on a minimum 7 night stay.
The Studio Pavilion offers self contained accommodation for 2 guests with a relaxed contemporary interior, open plan living/dining room, covered deck areas, well-equipped kitchen, queen bed, bathroom with shower and comfortable, contemporary furniture.
When booking for more than 2 guests, access is also provided to the Retreat Pavilion.
The Retreat Pavilion is located adjacent to the Studio Pavilion (external access), providing a separate and private space for 2 extra guests. Ideal for families with teenage children. The Retreat offers two king single beds, bathroom with shower, and living room with futon lounge and TV/Blu-ray, the Retreat is living and sleeping space that complements the Studio perfectly. Note: For families with an extra child, the futon lounge is available as a double bed upon request.
Note: The two pavilions are not rented separately to different guests.

Terms & Conditions

By proceeding with this booking you are agreeing to accept our Terms and Conditions:

Arrival & Departure Times:
• Check in from 2:00pm and check out by 10:00am, unless authorised by prior arrangement. Failure to abide by the above will incur extra charges.
• After the Guest Registration and Terms & Conditions are signed and the full tariff payment and bond
details are received the access instructions will be emailed to you. 


Guests & Usage:
• The property is leased to the nominated person for holiday letting purposes only, for the period 
stated and the number of persons specified at the time of booking. The guest who made the booking must stay at the property and will be held responsible for the conduct of all other guests.
• The use of the property for a function party or like gathering is strictly prohibited. If the above is breached the property manager reserves the right to cancel the booking refuse key collection or evict the occupants without notice.

Noise:
• There are permanent residences neighbouring The Lily Pad (including residents on the same property) and we must insist on NO loud noise/music and a NO party policy.
• Under the Code of Conduct of the Byron Bay Holiday Letting Organisation (HLO), if we receive a noise complaint from the neighbours or the HLO noise hotline and a security guard is called out, the applicable fine is payable and may lead to termination of your booking. In these extreme circumstances your tariff and bond will NOT be refunded.
• Please ensure that any music is turned down and conversations are brought inside after 9pm. Be considerate of the neighbours and remain quiet when entering and exiting the property, particularly between 9pm and 7am.
• The Lily Pad is not available for weddings, functions or parties of any kind. 


Miscellaneous:
• No Smoking
• The owners insurance does not cover tenant’s personal possessions or pets. No responsibility is taken for tenant’s personal possessions or pets.
• Repairs to any appliances will be attended to as soon as possible. Due to circumstances outside our control (ordering of parts or availability of tradespeople) immediate repairs may not be possible. Please report any issues right away.

On Departure:
• It is expected that The Lily Pad will be treated with all due care & respect and left clean and tidy on departure. Any extra time required for cleaning (above and beyond a normal clean) will be deducted from the bond.
• The BBQ is to be cleaned on departure, all kitchen items cleaned, dry and put away.
• Please ensure all rubbish and recycling is placed in the bins provided at the top of the driveway labeled "Lily Pad at Byron”.

Payment Policy

• A non-refundable 50% deposit is required up-front to confirm your booking.
• The balance of tariff must be paid 30 days prior to arrival. If you are booking within 30 days of arrival, the full tariff is due at the time of booking.
• Credit card transactions will incur a non-refundable 3% handling fee. EFT details can be provided upon request as an alternate payment method.
• Credit card details are required as a security deposit bond of $500-$1000 (depending on booking), before the keys will be provided. These details are held by the property manager until after your stay. If there are damages or excess cleaning noted by the regular cleaners after your departure the total security deposit will be debited from the credit card provided. A refund will be provided after the damages are rectified.
• The bond is released within 3 working days of your departure, subject to these Terms & Conditions.
• Should there be any damages or losses (including keys) the full bond will be retained and then 
refunded less any damage or loss replacement costs. Should the damage exceed $150 then a $50 administration fee will apply. 


Cancellation Policy

• Cancellations will incur a full forfeit of all monies paid. However, if the Lily Pad is re-let for the same period and tariff, monies paid will be refunded, less a $150 administration fee. 

• Credit card handling fees are non-refundable.
