Lorne Bush House Cottages & Eco Retreats

A delightful blend of bush & beach nestled amongst the gum trees of Lorne's forested backdrop yet only a 3 minutes' drive to the Great Ocean Road, magnificent beaches, cosmopolitan restaurants and Lorne's bustling shopping village.
Accommodation options include 5x2 bedroomed cottages for couples or a family, 1x3 bedroomed Bush House, great for the extended family or for a group of friends to share, and 5x Deluxe Eco Retreats for the "experience seekers"-classy camping in a South African Safari Tent set up on an elevated floor overlooking the Otways.
The Cottages & Bush House have a full kitchen, indoor double corner spa, indoor heating with wood fires in the cottages & a gas imitation fire in the Bush House also including reverse cycle air-conditioning, smart TV, large decks with a private BBQ and outside fire pit.
The Eco Retreats have pampering deluxe beds, private ensuite, kitchenette, smart TV, electric heating and cooling, deck with outdoor furniture & private BBQ. There is also a communal fire pit fire pit for Eco Retreat guests to share.
All accommodation offer great views of the Otway Ranges, complete with electric blankets, and all bedding, linen and towels provided.
For all guests to share we have a yabby dam, an adventure ropes course, a walking track around the property and an abundance of native birds & animals to enjoy.

Terms & Conditions

When booking direct, half the total tariff is required to confirm the booking and the remainder is required the day before arrival. We reserve the right to request bonds at any time.

If paying by credit or debit card a 1.5% surcharge will apply to all transactions.

Check-in is from 2pm until 9pm.

Check-out is at 10am.

We have a strict policy on noise and rowdy behaviour and expect all guests to respect the quiet enjoyment of other guests. Failure to respect this will result in you being asked to leave without refund.

Strictly 'NO SMOKING' in accommodation. Failure to comply will result in a minimum $200 charge to guest credit card due to the inability to rent to following guests.

Additional cleaning charges apply if the accommodation isn't left tidy. Guests are responsible for any damage to the accommodation or its contents.
The cost of any repairs or replacements required will be charged to the guest's credit card.

A cleaning and damage bond will be taken for adult groups of 5 or more prior to arrival.

Strictly 'NO PETS' allowed in anywhere on the property or in the accommodation due to the large numbers of native wildlife in the immediate area.

Children up to 2 Years of age are not permitted to stay in the Deluxe Eco Retreats / Safari Tents.

Payment Policy

50% deposit required. Please note that this will be charged upon booking. Balance will be taken the day before arrival.

Payment can be by direct deposit, credit card or debit card, but please note that a 1.5% surcharge applies to all credit and debit card transactions.

Cancellation Policy

The deposit is refundable, less 10% of the total tariff per cottage booked [cancellation fee], if the cancellation occurs more than 14 days prior to arrival date. If less than 14 days to arrival date, the deposit is refunded, less the cancellation fee, only if another guest rebooks the dates of your booking and to the equivalent value.
