TERMS AND CONDITIONS

BOOKING AND PAYMENT
Receipt of payment assumes acceptance of these terms and conditions and a dog-friendly policy.
Check-in available from 2:00 pm, check-out by 10:00 am. We take pride in presenting our accommodation to the highest standard for every guest. We appreciate you don’t ask for late check-in and late checkout due to the time constraints between guests.
We require a deposit of 50 % to confirm a reservation. Payment is available by direct deposit or credit card.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Your deposit is non-refundable unless the accommodation can be rebooked by the owner for the same dates. The final payment is due 7 days prior to arrival. No refunds are given for cancellation within the 7 day period.

COVID
Due to the unknown circumstances surrounding COVID, should you need to postpone your stay due to a last-minute lockdown where you are or where we are, reach out and we can have a chat.

HOUSE STANDARDS
Do not exceed the maximum number of guests allocated per cabin overnight.
Should you be expecting visitors at the Maleny Homestead during your stay, we ask that the whole property (house and cottage) be reserved to avoid potential disturbance to separate guests.
We have a non-smoking policy indoors. Smoking is allowed outdoors on balconies only. Cigarette butts must be disposed of in the bins – not in the garden.

DAMAGES AND BOND
Noise levels must be kept at a normal residential level. Any damage to the property is the tenant’s responsibility.
We understand that sometimes there are accidents, so please let us know if something has been damaged, and we can come to some arrangement. We take a credit card number as a security bond, and if damages have not been reported after check out, and if we cannot contact you to discuss the matter, we reserve the right to charge the amount it takes to rectify those damages to your credit card.
The owners take no responsibility for the theft loss or damage to tenant personal property.

DOG-FRIENDLY POLICY
At Maleny Homestead, we are happy to have up to two small dogs stay along with their owners in any of our accommodations.
Please bring along your dog bedding and bowls. Dogs must be flea and tick treated, fully vaccinated and well behaved.
Pets are strictly not permitted on the beds or furniture.
We ask that you pick up any doggy business from the grassed areas or car park and dispose of it in the rubbish bin prior to your departure.
We ask you to not leave your pets unattended in the house, on the deck or in the yard.
All accommodations are not fenced, and a leash is required while outdoors.
At the Maleny Homestead, there are plenty of outdoor spaces and walking paths for your pets to exercise.
Thanks in advance for your care and consideration.
If it is necessary to repair any damage caused by your pet. The cost will be the responsibility of the guest.
A cleaning fee will be charged to your credit card if these rules are not respected.
