Welcome to Manly Bunkhouse Hostel, we’re glad to have you on our new site.

We provide budget accommodation for international students, backpackers and other visitors in a quiet beachside location in Manly beach. You will be delighted by our amazing location! Perfect for anytime holiday, summer or winter, stroll along the seaside or harbour-side and enjoy beautiful Manly.

Each and every room in our hostel has its own bathroom. Private rooms are also equipped with mini fridge, kettle, complimentary coffee/tea and provided with towels. Fresh linen and Free WiFi is supplied to every guest. Our cozy hostel is a clean, relaxed and friendly environment with a huge common room, commercial kitchen and an outside courtyard and backyard with BBQ amenities.

Our friendly staff will help you get the most of Manly with tips and to do’s for every taste. We even help you finding a job, for those looking for a work experience in Australia.

Terms & Conditions

High and Low season:
30% deposit will be charged on DIRECT bookings at the time of reservation.
Balance is paid on check in. No refund is given after check in.
NO REFUND is given after check in.

Peak Season (26th December - 2nd January)
Full Payment required by 1st October. No refund for cancellations.

$50 deposit (refundable) is to be provided at check in as security.
LATE CHECK IN: if arriving after hours, you MUST let us know. We require at least the FIRST NIGHT paid for and if you are staying for ONE night only we process a pre-authorisation on your card of $50 which is cancelled on check out the following day.
GROUP Bookings: If you wish to be all in the same room or want to book for 6 people or more you MUST CONTACT THE OFFICE by either phone or email..

Check out: strictly at 10am - late fee will apply if late.
Check in: 2pm (you are welcome to stay in our common areas if you arrive earlier)
Passport is required for international travellers and Photo ID/driver's license required for Australian guests.
Our shared rooms are for international travellers ONLY.
Late room charges/rent payments will be charged to your credit card unless alternative arrangements are made.

$50 deposit (refundable) is to be provided at check in as security.

LATE CHECK IN: if arriving after hours, you MUST let us know. We require at least the FIRST NIGHT fully paid for and if you are staying for ONE night only you need to send through a photo of ID (text/whatsapp/email) and we charge an additional $50 (as security) which is refundable on check out the following day.
Please note, you will be charged:
• $20 if a key is not returned on check out.
• If you damage the property you will be charged for the costs of repair/replacement.
• For excessively dirty rooms, linen or towels.

Bookings of 2 weeks+ must give 1 week notice to cancel/reduce stay

All guests by checking in agree to respect the House Rules and will be asked to leave if they do not follow the rules.
We are not a " party" hostel. Quiet hours and no alcool applies from 9pm.
Other rules include no drinking in the dorms, no smoking within the building, no illegal drugs, no visitors without approval and not after 10 pm.

Payment Policy

We accept Master and Visa credit cards, Eftpos and cash payment.
2% surcharge applies on credit card payments
30% deposit will be charged at the time of reservation.
Balance is paid on check in. No refund.
Full payment required by 1st October on Christmas and New Year 's bookings

Cancellation Policy

High Season: 1st October- 30th April (Except Peak Season Xmas- New Year)
7 days cancellation policy - Deposit is refundable prior to 7 days and NO REFUND if less notice
No show: First 2 nights will be charged.
No refund after check in

Low Season: 1st May - 30th September
2 days cancellation policy - Deposit is refundable prior to 2 days and NO REFUND if less notice
No show: First 2 nights will be charged.
No refund after check in

Peak Season: 24th December - 2nd January
Full payment must be made by 1st of October
No cancellation. The total price of reservation is non refundable.
