Terms & Conditions
Our tariff (New Zealand Dollars, including local taxes) varies by season, Winter (01 May to 31 October) and Summer (01 November to 30 April) and is as indicated in the Marino Ridge Website at www.marinoridge.co.nz. Exclusive use options are also available by enquiry. The tariff includes
• Transfer from ferry
• Use of all Marino Ridge's comforts and amenities
• Canapés and drinks before departing for dinner.
• Transfers to dinners in local area (dinner and return costs your care)
• Delicious fresh gourmet breakfasts.

Marino Ridge is a wholly smoke-free environment inside. Outside we ask that smokers exercise conscious control over their downstream smoke to avoid causing offense to other guests. Please be always considerate of the immediate environment. If you wish to smoke, please ask us for ashtrays.
Marino Ridge is small, very private, discrete. In order to confirm a reservation we require a deposit being the greater of 100% of the first night tariff, or 25% of the total stay tariff. We accept Visa and Mastercard credit cards. We prefer direct deposit to our account (details below).
Note 1: Marino Ridge may release the booking dates if your full deposit in cleared funds free of bank charges is not received when due.
Where travel has been booked through bona fide agents who have agreed prior arrangements in writing the balance is due and payable by Direct Credit within 7 calendar days of date of invoice.

Make sure you include:
• your account number at the sending bank
• your full name: no initials – everything needs to be spelled out
• your full street address: PO Box numbers aren’t acceptable.
You may be asked to provide extra information, like BSB numbers, sort codes, routing codes or IBAN numbers. These are just different terms used for bank, branch and account numbers. 38 = Bank, 9016 = Branch. Together these form the BSB/IBAN. Our account number is 0233045-00
To assist our reconciliation of your deposits PLEASE use YOUR NAME or COMPANY NAME in Particulars field, abbreviated if necessary, AND our INVOICE NUMBER in the Reference field. Thank you.
Payments of balances owing at the end of stay before departure may only be made by cash or credit card. Card fees may apply.
Cancellations: We will not levy fees for bookings cancelled more than 30 days from arrival date, but because of our small size the effect on us of cancellations inside 30 days is significant.
Should you have to cancel, then:
• If 30 days or less from planned arrival date: the fee is 100% of tariff for first night stay, or 50% of tariff for whole of stay, whichever is the greater.
• If 7 days or less from planned arrival date: 100% of tariff for whole of stay.
In each case you agree the act of cancellation is your explicit permission for us to charge the amount described. Refunds if any will be effected nationally by Direct Credit to your nominated bank account and internationally by International Money Transfer, in each case nett of our bank fees. All other foreseen or unforeseen costs, fees, foreign exchange fluctuations and all risks are solely your responsibility and to your account.
Travel Insurance...: Much as we'd prefer you to join us and enjoy our world class location, comfort and service, we do understand if circumstances arise which force your cancellation.
We strongly recommend that for your protection you invest in a high quality travel insurance: one that explicitly covers cancellation events. So there is no doubt in your mind: we will levy cancellation fees should you cancel inside 30 days of arrival.
Note 1: Special local events especially but not exclusively around holiday periods may require us to alter or amend this cancellation policy and those alterations become Cancellation Policy for the time being and supersede the policies herein. We will give advice of any changes via our website. Please check back occasionally.
