Terms & Conditions
Our tariff (New Zealand Dollars, including local taxes) varies by season, Winter (01 May to 31 October) and Summer (01 November to 30 April) and is as indicated in the Marino Ridge Website at www.marinoridge.co.nz. Exclusive use options are also available by enquiry. The tariff includes

Marino Ridge is a wholly smoke-free environment inside, and outside we ask that smokers exercise conscious control over their downstream smoke to avoid causing offense to other guests. It is a condition of your booking that before smoking on site you undertake to carefully dispose of smoking residues - ash, butts, matches - being always considerate of the immediate environment, and other guests. If you wish to smoke, please ask us for ashtrays.
Bookings & Cancellation policy
Marino Ridge is small, very private, discrete. In order to confirm a reservation we require a deposit being the greater of 100% of the first night tariff, or 25% of the total stay tariff, which together with a credit card transaction levy will be charged to your card.
Credit card cancellation refunds and no-show transactions require a 5% credit card transaction fee.
We will generally not levy fees for bookings cancelled more than 30 days from arrival date (except see detailed Cancellation Policy below, particularly Note 1), but the effect of cancellations on us is significant because of our small size, requiring we levy cancellation fees should you cancel inside 30 days of arrival.
Much as we'd prefer you to join us and enjoy our world class location and comfort, we understand if circumstances arise which force your cancellation. We strongly recommend that, for your protection, you invest in a high quality travel insurance: one that explicitly covers the cancellation event. Thank you.
Where travel has been booked through bona fide agents who have agreed prior arrangements in writing the balance is due and payable by Direct Credit within 7 calendar days of date of invoice.

To confirm a reservation we request a deposit paid by credit card or direct credit to our account in cleared funds for the full amount not reduced by fees being the greater of 100% of the first night tariff, or 25% of the total stay tariff.
No-show transactions require a 5% credit card transaction fee. Cancellation refunds are effected by bank transfer or international money order. Any and all bank fees related to the refund process are to your care. See Cancellation Policy elsewhere and on www.marinoridge.co.nz.
Payments of the balance owing at the end of stay before departure may only be made by cash or credit card. Card fees may apply.
In the event of cancellation the following policy applies:
Except for the period described in Note 1 below we will not levy fees for bookings cancelled more than 30 days before arrival date. The effect on us of cancellation inside 30 days is significant, requiring we levy the following fees should you cancel:
•If by 2pm NZ time 30 days or less from planned arrival date: 100% of tariff for first night stay, or 50% of tariff for whole of stay, whichever is the greater.
•If by 2pm NZ time 7 days or less from planned arrival date: 100% of tariff for whole of stay.
No-Shows incur a 5% credit card processing fee. Refunds are effected by bank transfer or international money order. Any and all bank fees related to the refund process are to your care.
Note 1: For reservations commencing between 15 December and 15 January all cancellations made 31 to 45 days prior to arrival incur a 50% cancellation fee for each night cancelled.
For bookings in that period where cancellations are made 30 days or less prior to arrival a 100% cancellation fee becomes due and payable.
Note 2: Marino Ridge will release the booking dates if your deposit in cleared funds is not received when due.
Note 3: Cancellation fees will be charged pro-rata should the cancelled space be on-sold with equivalent terms and conditions.
