Melaleuca Mountain Resort is located near Oberon in the Blue Mountains tourism area, and is one of the premium, natural Blue Mountains accommodation getaways.

Wildlife is plentiful throughout the resort with resident wallaby families, wombats and an abundance of native bird life including spectacular Lorikeets, Rosellas, finches & parrots.

To take advantage of the spectacular views and natural surroundings, the Chalets have been positioned around a North Easterly facing ridge with views over the Duckmaloi valley to the mountains.

Each chalet is tastefully furnished and is screened by trees and shrubs to provide privacy whilst maximising the views.

The grounds include some lovely BBQ and picnic areas, with full facilities for a romantic meal or a family get together.

Melaleuca Mountain Resort is just 10 kilometres from Oberon township, which comprises RSL and sports clubs, a picturesque golf course, numerous small shops, supermarkets and medical facilities and a good choice of eating places. The spectacular Jenolan Caves are only 38 kilometres away, on sealed roads.

Arrival and Departure
Check in time is 3:00pm
Check out is 10:00am
Early or late check ins or check outs can be arranged in consultation with Management.

Getting here:
It is essential that you have your own transport as there is no local alternative public transportation available.

Getting inside:
You will receive a key code via email the morning of your arrival. There is a key box outside of your cabin, the key code gives you access to this, which then opens for they key to get inside the cabin.

Children:
Children are very welcome, however, when near the Dam or in the Wooded Area they MUST BE SUPERVISED AT ALL TIMES. Also please beware of wildlife with children as there are many kangaroos on the property.

Exterior Complex Lighting:
Also please note that the lights in the complex common areas go off after 11.30pm so you may need a torch or your phone torch. We do this to protect the flora and fauna.

Safety:
All Cabins have a Smoke Detector, a Fire Blanket, a Fire Extinguisher and a First Aid Kit

Water:
Drinking water is provided. If you run out of drinking water, there are supermarkets in town who sell this. Please note that Melaleuca is fed from Bore Water which is fine for cooking, washing etc however can be problematic for some people if drunk from the taps. We would also ask that you help us conserve the Bore Water during your stay.

Heating:
The combustion fire is waiting to be lit and there is additional wood and firelighters in the firebox as well as wood on the verandah.

Additional Cleaning Charges:
A $50-$150 additional cleaning charge will be incurred for the following:
- dishes left unwashed
- furniture not in configuration enjoyed on arrival
- any untoward cleaning requirements from your occupation of the cabin.

Payment Policy

Confirmation Policy
A payment of one Night Rate will secure your booking. Payments by most Credit Cards accepted.

A surcharge for Mastercard and Visa of 1.95% + 45cents booking fee and for Amex 2.95% + 45cents booking fee will apply for credit cards. To avoid these charges, please phone 02 6336 1158 to book & pay by EFT.

The remainder of your payment will need to be paid 10 days prior to your stay.

Cancellation Policy

Deposit Refund Policy
Your deposit is fully refundable (less a 10% admin fee) if cancelled more than 21 days prior to arrival. If cancelled less than 21 days prior to arrival date the balance and deposit may not be refundable depending on the circumstances.

No-show Policy
If you fail to arrive, without prior notification to Management, your deposit is not refundable and the balance of the cost will be charged to your credit card.
