MICALO house + STUDIO – sleeps maximum 20 people
The property must not be used by more than the number of people agreed to and confirmed in the booking confirmation. Guests above 20 are deemed an even and charges apply.

No weddings, parties, schoolies or events are to be held without prior arrangement with management.
PETS: Small pets are considered upon request.

Rates quoted are in Australian dollars and valid for 48 hours
PAYMENT OPTIONS
Payments are accepted by credit cards, Visa or Mastercard or AMEX or Direct Bank Transfer on request.
All payments are only accepted in AUS dollars. A credit card service fee and all service and administrative fee will apply which is non-refundable.
DEPOSIT
50% non-refundable deposit is required as a deposit to secure and confirm your booking and must be payable at the time of booking. Payment of this ‘deposit’ indicates acceptance of the booking Terms & Conditions.
FINAL PAYMENT
The balance of payment is due no less than 60 days prior to the arrival/check in date (or as indicated in your booking details).
For bookings made inside 60 days prior to arrival/check-in, full payment is required at time of booking.
Monies can be paid via credit card only.
If the ‘deposit’ or final payment is not received by the due date, management reserves the right to cancel the booking and will result in the loss of all monies paid.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Strictly:
Cancellations more than 60 days in advance 50% non-refundable deposit.
Cancellations within 60 days of booking date 100% non-refundable.
We recommend all travellers obtain travel insurance to cover you against any unforeseen circumstances.
SECURITY BOND
A security deposit of $3000 will be charged 48 hours prior to your stay. This will be shown in the breakdown of costs on your final invoice.
If there are no breakages, loss or excessive cleaning the security deposit will be released in full 3-5 days after departure based on the condition of the property at the time of departure. Security bonds cannot be in any circumstances released on the day of departure and are not available to be returned in cash. We only accept credit cards for security bonds.
Security bond may be used to cover incidental items such as (but not limited to) any breakages, damage or losses incurred during your stay and cleaning charges in excess of the normal level of cleaning up to the amount of $5000.
Should the guest/occupant incur a claim on the security bond, management will conduct a courtesy call or emailed notification of the claim and will further deduct the claim from the initial security bond.
If the claim is not at fault to the registered guest/occupant, it is the registered guest/occupant’s responsibility to retrieve funds from other parties involved.
ON DEPARTURE:
Upon check out the property should be left clean and tidy.
Excess cleaning required on departure or replacement of items broken or removed from the accommodation will be charged to the guest’s credit card. Furniture, fixtures, and fittings are not to be altered or moved between rooms or properties. There will be a charge incurred if furniture is not returned to its original location.
Damages or breakages of furniture or furnishing, or the property must be reported to Management prior to check out and will be charged to the guest’s credit card.
Any damage to lawns, landscaping and general outside property of MICALO will incur an additional charge for repairs and subsequently might be taken from your bond hold.
EXCESS CLEANING, DAMAGES AND CHARGES
This includes but is not limited to:
• Placement of rubbish in the bins provided.
• Golf ball pick up $100.
• Sorting recycling from rubbish $300
• Extra rubbish removal over and beyond normal - tip run $300 (events are charged per person at $5.50 plus GST)
• Extra cleaning for oven (over and beyond normal use) $100
• Extra cleaning for BBQ (over and beyond normal use) $100
• Any dishes left unwashed - $100.
• Any spillages on floors that have not been attempted to be cleaned - $100 or more depending on how much there is to clean.
• Cigarette butts in garden or fire pits $150
• Stains on furniture/ linen - TBC
• Carpet stains - TBC
• Missing items or damaged items -TBC
• Any damages to exterior Lawns and landscaped gardens - TBC
INDEMNITY:
• Guests’ actions, conduct and safety are the responsibility of the Guests. The owner of this Property does not condone unsafe, irresponsible, or illegal actions/behaviour etc. on or off the premises, during a stay or at any other time. A condition of entering and/or staying at this Property means that all Guests understand and agree to indemnify the owner against any responsibility or action(s) (legal or other), due to any action(s), incident(s), loss or injury(s) while within or outside of the premises (including, but not limited to, the grounds, facilities, structures, etc.) during a stay or at any other time.
GOLF CART: By agreeing to the terms and conditions by way of booking Micalo, you hereby agree:
• To pay for repairs to, or replacement of, the golf cart/s for any damage sustained whilst in possession of the guest or any other persons to which the guest has allowed usage to
• To accept full responsibility for all children in the golf cart/s under the age of 18 years
• To indemnify and to keep indemnified Micalo owners from all claims, damages, costs and expenses of any nature that may arise while the golf cart/s is hired to the signer
• The guest acknowledges that they are familiar with the operation, use and control of the golf cart and that they are able to operate and control the golf cart
• The guest acknowledges they are 18 years or older and hold a valid driver’s licence
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
• Ensure wheels are turned in desired direction and path is clear
• Turn key to ON position
• Select FORWARD (F, or REVERSE (R) only when stopped
• Release park brake fully
• Vehicle will start moving when accelerator pedal is pressed
• Slowly press accelerator pedal to increase speeD
• During operation, beeping alarm indicates reduction in motor braking
• To stop, release accelerator pedal and press brake pedal
WARNINGS
UNINTENDED VEHICLE MOVEMENT MAY CAUSE SEVERE INJURY OR DEATH
Before leaving vehicle:
• • Engage park brake to lock wheels
• • Place vehicle in NEUTRAL
• • Turn key to OFF and remove key
• ROLLOVER OR FALLING OFF MAY CAUSE SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH
• • Before using vehicle read operating instructions above
• • Do not start vehicle until all occupants are seated
• • Keep entire body inside vehicle while moving
• • Drive slowly in turns and straight up and down slopes
• • Use brakes to reduce speed when coasting downhill
• • Never operate under the influence of alcohol or drugs
• • For use by authorized persons in designated areas only
• • Remain seated while moving
• • Operate from driver side only
• • Never operate on public roads
• • Hold onto seat handle while moving
• • Two (2) persons per seat maximum
• • Never stand in front of or behind vehicle
• • Do not leave children unattended on vehicle

Finally, please take good care of the items within MICALO.
Please also note that every item no matter how small is counted for with our very in-depth stock take of items down to the last knife, robe, or towel. Any missing items will be deducted from the bond. Ensure that you clean up after yourself, respect the property inside and out and leave everything how you found it.
