Terms & Conditions

1. When making Bookings, Customers are required to provide identification information including, but not limited to, their name, address, contact telephone number, email address and credit card details.

2. No Booking would be deemed to be accepted unless and until Mingle confirms acceptance and provides a booking reference, at which point a Contract will come into existence.

3. Mingle endeavours to accommodate any request from the Customer to change the Booking Details. Mingle would only be able to respond to change requests no lesser than 24 hours prior to check in time 1500 hours on arrival date.

However, request to change date. length of stay and/or add products/services shall be subject to

a. availability; and
b. Customer paying for such requested changes at Mingle’s prevailing rates.

4. Mingle will endeavour to allocate group bookings for beds in the same room(s). However, this cannot be guaranteed. Such allocations are solely at Mingle’s discretion and subject to availability.

5. The Customer gives Mingle consent to collect Customer’s personal data such as and not limited to name, surname, email address, identification/social security number, contact information, credit card/bank details upon booking and check in.

6. Valid photo identification in the form of Identity Card or Passport is required at check-in.

7. The Customer agrees to receive marketing information via mail, telephone, or e-mail and text messages, and other digital channels. Marketing through email and sms is regulated by Malaysian Personal Data Protection Act. Your personal data may be disclosed to designated officer(s) within Mingle Group or appointed third parties by Mingle..

8. Mingle is unable to accommodate disabled Customers due to limitations of its properties. Disabled customers are not encouraged to book to stay at Mingle Kuala Lumpur and would be subjected to Mingle cancellation policy.

9. Customers are required to conduct themselves and ensure that their Guests conduct themselves in reasonable and responsible manner at Mingle and must not act in any way which may disturb other guests or violate Mingle House Rules and local law and regulations. Failure to adhere to this requirement constitutes a serious breach and Mingle reserves the right to request the Customer and/or Guest(s)to leave Mingle property. In such instance, all Charges and Additional Charges shall become immediately payable by the Customer.

10. Smoking is strictly not permitted inside and at Mingle for safety reasons.

11. The Customer shall be liable for any loss or damage caused to Mingle by Customer and his/her Guests. All costs to repair, clean or replace shall become immediately due and payable by the Customer.

12. No pets are allowed at Mingle.

13. Customers and their Guests may only consume food and beverages purchased at Mingle. No outside food is allowed.

14. All Customers and their Guests are required to take off their shoes and wear the slippers provided by Mingle within the hostel area for hygiene reasons.

Payment Policy

2.1 The Charges will be as quoted by Mingle to the Customer upon the Customer’s request for a Booking.

2.2 Unless otherwise agreed by Mingle, the Charges only cover the provision of accommodation at the Hostel and the Customer may incur additional charges including, without limitation, charges for towel, drinks, merchandise etc.

2.3 Customers will be informed of the amount of the Additional Charges before they are incurred.

2.4 Bookings will only be valid if the Customer make payment of the Charges in full in advance or, at Mingle’s option, paying a booking fee and/or deposit; and providing valid Debit or Credit Card details via which payment of the Charges or the balance of the Charges(as the case may be) and any Additional Charges can be taken at check in at the hostel or at the time of booking.

2.5 If not prepaid in full at time of booking the balance of the Charges must be paid by the Customer immediately on checking in at the Hostel. Any Additional Charges must be paid either as they are incurred or, at Generator’s option, upon the Customer checking out at the Hostel.

2.6 The following payment methods are accepted by Mingle

a. Visa
b. Mastercard
c. American Express
d. Cash but the customer must provide providing valid Debit or Credit Card details

Cancellation Policy

3.1 The Customer may cancel the booking made via our website, www.minglekl.com without charge if notice is given by email 24 hours before 3 pm on the Arrival Date. In which case Mingle will refund to the Customer all sums paid by the Customer, except for the booking or cancellation fee.

3.2 Where the Customer has been offered a discounted rate on condition that the Booking may not be cancelled then, provided the Customer has been informed of such Condition, then the Booking may not be cancelled and the Charges applicable to that Booking are payable in full.

3.3 Where the Customer fails to give sufficient notice of cancellation as per clause 3.1 or fails to arrive (no show) at the Hostel, the Booking will be deemed cancelled and the Customer must pay Mingle an amount equivalent to the Charges applicable to the first’ night’s stay at the Hostel. Charges applicable to that Booking will not be refunded.

3.4 Mingle may at any time cancel a booking if Mingle becomes unavailable due to circumstances outside Mingle’s control in which case Mingle will pay the Customer a full refund of any Charges and any booking fee paid.

3.5 Mingle may at any time cancel the Booking if the payment details provided by the Customer in accordance with payment policy clause 2.4 and 2.6 are invalid and the Customer fails to provide alternative valid details.
