Located in Cape Tribulation, where the rainforest meets the reef, mist at Cape Tribulation is perfectly nestled into the natural environment and complimenting its unique surroundings boasting stunning views of the World Heritage Rainforest.
Built with the comfort of our guests at the centre of every design aspect, mist introduces light, airy, modern and fresh accommodation to the rainforest. Freestanding and spacious, with expansive views, mist at Cape Tribulation is the newest luxury boutique accommodation in rainforest of Cape Tribulation and each pavilion offers 50 sq mt of living space.

Terms and Conditions
Smoking Policy
Smoking is not permitted inside the accommodation however it is allowed on the deck area PROVIDED THAT all windows and doors remain closed. Cigarette butts, ash, tobacco or any used smoking product including soiled ashtrays are not permitted inside the accommodation.
There is a significant room recovery fee for guests who do not comply with our smoking policy in order to cover the extensive cost of restoring guest accommodation to a smoke-free condition.
Please leave the accommodation in clean & tidy condition upon departure with crockery, cutlery is washed.
Accidents do happen and we do not charge for minor breakages or wear and tear which occur as a result of normal use but we reserve the right to charge reasonable repair or replacement costs for excessive damage or breakages.
If the accommodation or contents are damaged during occupancy due to reckless, negligent or willful act of the guest or guest’s invitees, any such damage will be repaired or replaced by mist at Cape Tribulation at the cost of the Guest. Where damage does occur, any associated losses, including lost income and the sourcing of alternative accommodation may be charged to the guest in addition to the repair/replacement costs.
Please note that damage to surfaces caused by the use of tealights, candles, mosquito coils or similar will be considered negligent damage and can result in extensive repair costs which will be charged to the guest.
Third Party Products
Cancellation policies vary between tour providers and it is recommended that you familiarise yourself with these when placing a tour package booking. Usually, tour cancellations within 48 hours are not eligible for a refund. Where a service provider does issue a refund or partial refund upon cancellation, mist at Cape Tribulation will refund that amount to you.
Parties, functions and Noise
Only the guests nominated and agreed in the Booking may stay in the Property overnight.
If any other guests stay extra charges will apply or the agreement may be terminated without refund.
Disturbance to neighbours, including excessive noise, is prohibited and may result in termination and eviction without refund and extra charges may be made for security and other expenses.
Accommodation is for 2 Adults only per pavilion, if you require accommodation for infants or children prior notification is required.
Pets are allowed by prior approval only.

Payment Policy
Payment Policy
In order to secure your reservation you will be required to supply credit card details at the time of booking and the Total Booking Amount will be charged to your card at the time of booking.
Security Deposit
Credit card details are required at the time of booking and held for security purposes. Any charges that arise from damage, loss or theft to the property or additional cleaning resulting from non-compliance with our smoking policy or the accommodation being left in an excessively dirty/untidy condition will be charged to the credit card or deducted from the bond.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be made by e-mail or the website booking system. For the cancellation to be validated you must have received an acknowledgement from us.
NO CANCELLATION FEE
For reservations cancelled more than 30 days prior to arrival no cancellation fee will be incurred.
CANCELLATION FEE APPLIES
For reservations cancelled within 30 days of arrival a cancellation fee of 20% of the total booking amount will be incurred unless we are able to re-let the accommodation.
And/or
If reservations are cancelled within 14 days of arrival a cancellation fee of 100% of the Total Booking Amount will be incurred unless we are able to re-let the accommodation.
In the case where we can re-let the accommodation, we reserve the right to deduct from the refund amount any additional fees or costs incurred by us in the course of re-letting (e.g. booking agent commissions). Any such fees and costs will be itemised and transparent. We recommend that you purchase travel insurance that will cover the cancellation fee in the case of you having to cancel your holiday due to unforseen circumstances.
