636 Moolooloo Rd
Blinman SA 5730 Australia

Moolooloo Station is a rugged and beautiful working sheep station located in the Flinders Ranges in South Australia. It is a perfect location to holiday to enjoy this ancient and breathtaking landscape. Moolooloo Station also has important historical significance as it was the base camp for the famous explorer McDouall Stuart who was the first white explorer to cross Australia from South to North which established the foundation for the overland telegraph and also the settlement of the Northern Territory.

Moolooloo has had many owners between 1853 and the present day. Most recently the Warren family from the Yorke Peninsula took over in 2021 from the Slade's who took care of this incredible place for four generations.
At Moolooloo we have options for staying with us that suit most guests. Ranging from our fully equiped Shearer's Quarters, to various camping styles. The Blinman Hut offers camping with a difference. The hut is located in the most remote and spectacular part of the station and provides a kitchen and bathroom facilities. We also offer camp sites with eco toilets and others that are basic bush camping for those that are fully self sufficient.
There is so much to see and do on the station and in the region. The most recent attraction in our region is the Ediacara Fossil Site located at nearby Nilpena Station .
