Mountain Dreaming can be found nestled in behind well known bar/restaurant The General. You are central to all that Mt Hotham has to offer and if you stay at Mountain Dreaming you have access to The General's bar/restaurant and conference facilities.

Functions & Weddings

All year around, The General is Mt Hotham's premier conference and meeting venue, offering full function, conference and wedding facilities from meetings for six through to weddings catering for up to one hundred and fifty people.

Menu and Drink packages are available for functions at a budget to suit the event.

Actvivities can be co-ordinated for your function.

CHECK IN
Check in time is guaranteed from 3.00pm. Every action will be taken to accommodate early arrivals, but is not guaranteed. Luggage storage is available.

CHECKOUT
Checkout is STRICTLY 10.00am. There will be no refund for early departure. A late checkout fee of 50% of the daily apartment tariff will apply if the property is not vacated prior to or by the designated checkout time. Tardy checkouts impact on incoming guests. Luggage storage is available if you want to continue skiing through the day. Just contact staff to arrange 57593523.

SECURITY DEPOSIT & CLEANLINESS
Whilst being a guest at Mountain Dreaming Apartments you are responsible for any loss or damage to the property. Your credit card on file will be used to secure any damage charges. It is expected that the apartment will be left in a "reasonable" state as you leave. Dishes should be placed in the dishwashers, furniture returned to original settings and rubbish placed in bins provided. Extra cleaning will be charged @ $40 per hour for the time it takes cleaning staff. Please note that the Mountain Dreaming Apartments are non-smoking and pets are not permitted. If the apartment is left in an unreasonable state and cant be occupied by incoming guests, there will be a charge equal to 1 nights tariff applicable to your room type charged to your credit card. You will also be asked to vacate your apartment and find alternate accommodation if deemed necessary, if such transgressions occur mid stay. No refund will be available for the remaining part of your stay if the above eventuates.

TRAVEL INSURANCE*
Travel insurance is HIGHLY recommended. You may have the potential to claim in the event of:
• Personal liability, death, accident or illness
• Damage or permanent loss of luggage and personal effects during travel
• Cancellation fees and lost deposits that you can't recover in any other way; if your journey is cancelled or shortened at any time through circumstances either expected, intended by you, or outside your control
• Road closures due to unexpected or untimely weather conditions.

GUEST BEHAVIOUR AND CONDUCT
As a guest of Mountain Dreaming Apartments it is expected that you will respect the amenity of the adjoining apartments. The apartments adjoin The General Hotel which is a licensed venue. Security and bar staff will apply the same standards re: conditions of entry to both apartment guests and other patrons without favour. Intoxicated and unruly behaviour will not be tolerated. Gross misconduct may result in eviction if deemed appropriate.

We may use third-party service providers to process your personal information on our behalf for the purposes of this booking. For example, we may share some information about you with these third parties so that they can contact you directly by email (for example: to obtain post stay reviews about your travel experience).

Payment Policy

ACCOMMODATION PRICING
All prices are correct at time of printing but are subject to change without notice.
All reservation requests are subject to availability. Any verbal or written quotes are an estimate only of the price and will be confirmed at time of booking.

BOOKINGS
To confirm your reservation we require a 50% deposit at the time of booking, and the balance 1 calendar month prior to arrival.

BOOKINGS MADE WITHIN 1 MONTH OF ARRIVAL DATE
Reservations made within 1 calendar month off the arrival date require full payment at the time of making the reservation. This is a non-refundable payment. Bookings will not be guaranteed until full payment is received.

THIRD PARTY BOOKINGS
All non-direct bookings from third party sites are processed in full as per their sites payment terms and conditions

PAYMENT
Direct deposits and major credit cards are accepted - Visa, MasterCard, Diners and AMEX. Cheques are not accepted. Amex and Diners charge cards will attract a 4% surcharge.

Cancellation Policy

CANCELLATION
If cancellation occurs prior to 1 calendar month of your arrival every endeavour will be made to re-schedule your holiday as vacancies allow, or, the total cost of the booking less 15% (booking management fee) will be refunded.
If less than one calendar month notice is given, ALL MONIES PAID ARE FORFEITED
(Please refer to Travel Insurance information below).

A change of date or accommodation type is treated as a cancellation and a new booking made.
