Mt Lyell Anchorage, Queenstown Tasmania’s finest self-contained accommodation is a great place to relax after a long day exploring the countryside on your way to Tasmania’s Western Wilderness.
Comfort and style with a homely feel. Gorgeous bespoke bathrooms, comfortable beds, a stylish mix of period and new furniture, quality inclusions, kitchen garden and friendly hosts available to assist in making your time in Queenstown pleasant and memorable.
It's the little things that make your stay at Mt Lyell Anchorage so comfortable. Like large walk-in showers, heated towel rails, bathrobes, quiet panel heating, well equipped kitchens in our cottages and Myrtle Suite and free Wifi to keep in touch with friends and family.  The main house "Anchorage" has 4 Queen rooms and  1 suite, each with a private bathroom. Suitable for adults only.

For families, our self-contained cottages provide everything you need. If you are travelling alone please contact us for single rates.

We added a beautiful new ensuite featuring stunning local Myrtle timber with a large walk-in shower. With full kitchen facilities and an enormous bedroom, the Myrtle Suite is the perfect place to spend a few nights relaxing after experiencing all the wonders of Tasmania's west coast.

Mastercard, Visa, Cash or Direct Deposit accepted.

Cancellation Policy

A deposit of the first night's tariff of your booking will be taken upon booking. Any booking cancelled within 48 hours of check-in time will incur a fee equal to the first nights accommodation cost plus 50% of the second night if a longer stay is booked.
All bookings cancelled more than 48 hours before check-in time may incur a $50 administration fee at our discretion.
PLEASE NOTE; This policy applies to direct bookings. Policy may vary if booked through other channels in which case, the policy on that channel will apply.

Check-in time is 2pm-6pm on the day of reservation. Check-out time is 10am on day of departure.
