TERMS & CONDITIONS

THE COMPANY/THE CONSULTANT
In this document, reference is made to THE COMPANY, which refers to Nukubati Private Island, Great Sea Reef, Fiji. Any reference to THE CONSULTANT REFERS to any person appointed by the Company to be responsible for certain functions - i.e.: Marketing Consultant.

LENGTH OF STAY
Nukubati Island has a minimum stay requirement of 3 nights. To fully experience Nukubati Island, a 5 night plus stay highly recommended

CONFIRMATION
Nukubati Island Reservations Department will provide a written confirmation/invoice. Reservations for travel within 30 days will be confirmed with an OPTION of FOUR WORKING DAYS and should the reservation not be confirmed to the Company within that period, the reservation will automatically be cancelled.

CHECK IN/ CHECK OUT TIMES
CHECK IN - 12.00 noon CHECK OUT - 10.00 am
Due to the remoteness of Nukubati Island, these check in/out times are very flexible and are dependent on the guest's own travel plans.

TRAVEL INSURANCE
It is strongly recommended that guests take out Comprehensive Travel Insurance.

PAYMENT SCHEDULE
DEPOSIT: A non refundable deposit of F$1,000.00 is required on booking.
BALANCE: Full payment is to be made 30 DAYS prior to the guest’s arrival.
BOOKINGS LESS THAN 30 DAYS: To be paid in full at time of booking
PAYMENT METHOD
We accept the following credit cards: Visa, Mastercard and American Express .

FIJI GOVERNMENT TAX
All rates have Fiji Government Taxes included

RATE SUBJECT TO CHANGE
The Company reserves the right to adjust rates for events beyond the control of the Company; i.e. changes in tax or exchange rates if same is raised /lowered by the actions of any Government.

GUEST RESPONSIBILITY
Please be advised that the Company will NOT accept any responsibility for any guests’ loss of or damage to personal equipment and property whilst staying at the Resort, and while participating in any activity. Guests are required to follow any directions, which may be given whilst staying at the Resort or participating in activities.
The Company will NOT accept responsibility for any injuries, which occur to guests whilst staying at the Resort or due to participation in any activity either on or off the island.
The Company will NOT accept any responsibility for any delay, additional expense or inconvenience which may be caused directly or indirectly by events outside of the Company’s control such as late arrival of the Domestic or International flights, civil disturbances, fire, floods, unusually severe weather, acts of God, acts of Government, or failure of any machinery or equipment.

CANCELLATIONS
Cancellations must be made and received by the resort or its representatives IN WRITING by email to info@nukubati.com

DEPOSIT: Strictly Non-refundable.
30 days or less and more than 14 days notice: 50% cancellation fee for every night cancelled
Less than 14 days notice: 100% cancellation fee for every night cancelled.
No Shows or days not used resulting from late arrival or premature departure: No refund given.

AMENDMENT OR POSTPONEMENT OF AN EXISTING BOOKING
Should an amendment or postponement of an existing booking occur within the cancellation periods, the cancellation fees will NOT BE WAIVED UNLESS THE SPACE IS RESOLD or the Resort agrees to another form of fee structure.

WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND APPROPRIATE INSURANCE PROTECTION
