Oggs Lodge

For over 50 years visitors have been enjoying visiting, skiing and relaxing on Mount Buller at the Old Geelong Grammarians (OGGS) Lodge. Great for families and groups, OGGS offers affordable, traditional lodge style accommodation with self catering facilities right on the mountain and just 200 metres from the village centre.

Surrounded by snow gums, OGGS Lodge is an architect designed round-house which was cutting edge technology in the 1950′s! Now that style is very retro and the Lodge still retains the charm and some of the early features of skiing on the mid-fifties. The lodge has been expanded and developed further over the years. The accommodation is very snug, rooms being deliberately kept small to conserve heat, but Lodge prices are amongst the best on the mountain and the location can’t be beaten for the price!

During Summer the whole of Mt Buller comes alive as the flora and fauna return from the winter cold. Nestled amongst the gum trees, OGGS Lodge is a great base for Summer on Mt Buller for Hiking, Cycling, Fishing, Bird Watching, Touring and sightseeing.
